6 goals obviously but defensive pressure and commitment as well. This might be the day the General stopped being potentially great holding down a best 22 spot, and just became a great player.

5 - Griff - his best game in a long while. Did some great work inside and outside.
4 - General - so happy he could go and dominate the way he did.
3 - Whitfield - running machine. Out Scullied' Scully today.
2 - Haynes - I love this guy. Kept us in the competition early on.
1 - Tommo - A great game down back. Could this be the turning point?

5 - John Patton: deserves the full points for a fantastic effort, not just the 6 goals, but lots of hard work getting to contests & defensive effort also
4 - Nick Haynes: thought he was again brilliant in the defensive line with his vision and his sticky hands
3 - Ryan Griffen: agree that was probably his best game for GWS
2 - Adam Tomlinson: much maligned this year but really nailed the job today, great positioning, marking and disposal
1 - Zac Williams: his pure stats don't rate that highly but once again really impressed with his hard running, clean possessions and clear vision
