I don't get your post about people not understanding footy and thinking Jong was good.

I know my footy, I'm a bit of s jack of all trades who's a master of none, but one thing I know is footy. Jong was good. Made mistakes like everyone out there, but he hit the packs hard and contributed to the score board. Don't let hatred cloud your judgement.

I know I'm normally a strong supporter of Grant but if he had kicked 2.0 instead of 0.2 we would have won. He's not a kid anymore needs to convert his set shots else I (sadly) think it's probably time to move on. Not a knee jerk reaction, he's had this problem all year. He did do some nice things but god he needs to take his chances

Both. Favourable draw.

Richmond fans were bragging about it back in '13 when the lost to Carlton, was pretty funny at the time.

Thanks fargy, that's another positive to take from the night. Hopefully double up games next year against Tigers, Pies and Dees. Will help our bottom line and get us more time at the G.

F***. I'm shattered big time. When Stringer goaled it was pandemonium. If it was at Etihad the roof would've gone off. We really should've played tempo from there on. F***. It hurts. We'll finish 7th or 8th which may be a blessing as it puts us in the middle group for next year's fixturing. Hunter's handball to Crameri ......... I have no words. Hit the target & I guarantee we'd have scored - it'd be a tie or win. But poor kicking and the inability to control the game cost us at the end.

But. I'm so bloody proud of the boys. We'll forever remember 2015 as an amazing ride. Everything changes next year and beyond. We'll be the hunted.

Grant was pretty good. Big tackle in Q2 that led to a goal and kicked a 50m set shot in the last. Sure he's not the most talented but always put in every week, why do supporters dislike him so much?

Jong was good. He isn't composed with the ball but neither were Boyd or Murphy at the same age. heck, Boyd wasn't composed with the ball at 25. Or 27. Cross, Boyd and even Scott West were always better with the ball at hand, burrowing under packs rather than kicking.

Jong can play. Composure will come when he relaxes and has confidence in himself.

I'd argue he's one of the more talented players on our list. Strong overhead, elite pace, sublime hands... but he just doesn't seem to be able to put it all together. I've been a big supporter of his for years, always looking on the bright side but I feel he has to offer a bit more

Hurts that we played all ver them and lost. A bit like in 97 and the 08, 09'finals games. We just don't seem to know how to control the game when we need to.

Anyone who sits down and watched that whole game and thinks Jong was anything other than a negative overall I honestly don't think you haven't the faintest idea about football.

But I'm over it he is there to stay and I will continue to be disgusted by it so move on

Hopefully next year we have enough players so he doesn't get a game and can stay in the VFL so I don't have to see how useless he is.

Totally on your side. Statistics mean nothing, just like the way Jong played a finals brand of football. Tackling, contested marking etc mean jack.

Haha, just got back to Prahran, I walked from the G. Jumped into the spare room but she came and gave me a kiss goodnight. She's a Doggie, she isn't going anywhere, just got a bit scared.

I am not an overly aggressive man, but a Crows supporter purposefully walking over and clapping in my face after a game like that is more than my self-control can handle, he is very lucky i pushed him and didn't punch him straight in the nose.

Very proud of the boys, as bad as we feel, multiply that by 10,000 and you'll start to appreciate how much this will hurt our guys. Great motivation for the pre-season, onwards and upwards

He has been far more productive than I could ever have imagined so kudos to him, but finals is for men and men that don't sherk issues and I don't rate Dickson in that class. But IF he succeeds in finals I will put my hand up as I have with Caleb Daniel already


Jong will never make it at AFL level and I'm next to 100% certain of that but again time will tell

I'm actually a Grant fab but as I see it his biggest issue is he only plus when he decides we wants to.

Drifts in and out of games and his goal kicking is poor.

Like Hunter at times he looks disinterested

Being honest I really don't know what to do with him anymore coz he has all the tools to rip games apart but doesn't use them and will he ever

Doesn't anyone else get absolutely frustrated with Crameri shooting at goal. He kicks it 60m but doesn't even look when is free and 9 times out 10'misses by a mile. Someone needs to show the tape and say chill out and line up properly, otherwise he will cost us matches. Btw did anyone see Sloanes deadset throw to Thompson when he kicked the Crows first goal of the last quarter that and the kick off the side of the boot that went straight to Danger. Just the luck they needed.

That throw infuriated me.
