Nope completely wrong

Spoke to the boys yesterday and they didn't even give me a sniff of this
May well be the club kept it under tight wraps until they were sure of it. Hurts from one of our own.

Yeah but I normally hear at least a teeny bit about something going on

I didn't get a single sniff of this from the boys
Oh, I meant more maybe only a select few figures in the club knew about it? It's bloody odd all round though.

The Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs have asked the AFL to investigate the alleged leaking of sensitive game-day information by a Bulldogs player to Adelaide ahead of the elimination final.
The Bulldogs confirmed late on Tuesday that they had been made aware of the possibility that information relating to their game plan had found its way to the Crows.
It is understood defender Michael Talia, whose brother Daniel is the Adelaide full-back, is at the centre of the investigation.
Talia, who is out of contract and likely be traded, did not play in the last three games of the season, including the final in question.

Fairfax Media understands that the club had been concerned that information - specific to the elimination final - had been passed from younger to older brother.
Western Bulldogs chief executive David Stevenson said the club had been "made aware" on Monday last week that "some game sensitive information" had allegedly found its way to the Crows.
Stevenson said the Bulldogs had spoken to the Crows and had asked the AFL to investigate the matter, confirming the matter was in the hands of the integrity unit.
The AFL is expected to look into not only whether and how any information made its way out of the Bulldogs, but what - if anything - was done with it at Adelaide's end.
Stevenson would not elaborate further on the specifics, such as how the club thought the information had allegedly passed from the Bulldogs to the Crows, who won the thrilling elimination final narrowly, ending the Dogs' season.
"The club conducted such interviews and enquiries as we considered appropriate last week and as a result of those enquiries, the club has today referred the matter to the AFL for consideration by its integrity unit," he said in a statement.
"While we do not believe this matter had a material bearing on the game or the result, we believe it is appropriate to report these matters relating to integrity to the AFL for investigation.
"The club does not consider it appropriate to make any further comment at this time."
Adelaide chief executive Andrew Fagan said his club had no issues with the Bulldogs calling the AFL in, and that no-one at the Crows had done anything wrong. It is understood Adelaide believe it to be a case of harmless banter between brothers.
"We're aware of the incident to which the Bulldogs are referring, but I can confirm that any information players became aware of was not discussed by our coaching group and did not lead to any changes in selection, match ups, tactics or strategy," he told Fairfax Media.
The allegation first surfaced on 3AW's rumour file last Friday, and Fairfax Media's Caroline Wilson asked Crows coach Scott Camporeale on air whether he had received information from the Bulldogs' camp. Camporeale said no.
Appearing on Fox Footy on Tuesday night, Western Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy said that without knowing the facts around the matter, everyone should tread carefully when commenting.
"But football clubs are family... such a close-knit brethren. I'd hate to feel like that was broken," he said.
When asked whether the leaking of information could have a material bearing on the match, Murphy did not rule it out.
"We often refer to footy as war because we don't have a better word for it. It was a pretty tight game," he said.
Murphy said he had felt like something special was brewing at the Western Bulldogs before they lost to Adelaide.

"I wasn't ready to let it go," he said.

Why on earth would Talia tell anybody else at the club what he did? I mean, clearly he is an idiot if he did this, but surely he isn't stupid enough to go telling other players at the dogs that he did it. It's the equivalent of breaking into a house, then bragging about the shiny new tv you stole to the owners' friends.

On another note though, credit where it is due on your carlisle info, good job :)

Nothing stays secret in footy clubs mate and the players would have been told about this when the club knew it was going to go public

The boys told me they did have a meeting yesterday arvo so maybe it was about this

Oh, yeah, sorry I misinterpreted you. Agree that the club would tell the players before telling the media. Thought you were saying that Talia was telling the other players what he did.
