Hey Doggies,
WHEN you make a home final next year, ensure you play it at your home ground. At Etihad you win tonight's game by 30+.
Don't worry about the AFL robbed you stuff, remember both teams hardly play at the 'g' and from an outsider the AFL would be annoyed there is basically not much footy in Melbs this weekend, but you guys really want to play on the big stage I would of thought. Crows were great but you guys had em, poor goalkicking killed you ten times over, anyway, top year, come back harder next year as there are no guarantees in this league.
NFL starts tomorrowBut us playing at etihad would of gave us the edge. Playing at the MCG was neutral territory. Not a home final for us. As i said that win under our belt would of gave us the confidence to match hawks at the MCG. Can't wait for next year. So what am i gonna do now. I hate cricket![]()

I totally agree with your comments, it stings. But just have to remember that we were never even meant to be there. The tigers have lost 3 elimination Finals in a row with a much older list.
We will be back better than ever with hopefully a couple of new recruits.

You can't forget that we have a future superstar key forward in tom Boyd, still to come into this side. It will be like adding a Hawkins to our already potent forward line in the future!I like your confidence, but Richmond is a great example of how improvement isn't guarranteed.
Lets face it to have the best chance to win the flag, you need to finish in the top 2. Given our lack of homeground advantage through the regular season and the fact that we have less maney to spend on players than most of our opponents, finishing in the top 2 is extremely difficult.
Each year we have to get more right than our opponents just to keep pace with them.
We need to focus on getting back up around the top 4 next year and hope that the current positive public sentiment towards us manifests itself in terms of crowd support, sponsorship and maybe, just maybe, the lucky break umpiring decisions will go our way rather than against us as they have done for living memory.
Now to look at what we need to complete the list. We have a mix of players last night who were good in patches but couldnt sustain 4 qtrs of effort, players that made some mistakes at crucial times that led to turnovers and goals but in the final wash up, we now need to put last night behind us and move on.
I hope this club can take a good look at our defensive structure over the summer and work that out as we need a good solid KPD who can play on talls and has the body to match. Looking at our current gaps we have a few issues to sort out.
We are going in the right direction and while it may have been a little unrealistic to expect big things this year, the scene has been set. Mark my words, this team has tasted finals defeat in a game that they know they should have won. Thats going to sting and spur them on.
Go Dogs... And you lot, dont get disheartened.
Don't want to put pressure on him but really want to see Tom Boyd take some strides this pre season and get his body right, whether that be slim down or just get fit. We need him out thereSounds like from Bev's conference that Minson is staying, so no change in the ruck situation. Another pre-season to work on our defensive structures is just what we need, remember our coach only took over in November. We don't need any saviour players, that's what Carlton and Collingwood do.

Honeychurch starting with Caleb sub really cost us....Honey just has not enough tricks to make it and was woeful last night. As soon as Mcclean is in for him the better
spindle when lining for goal has his body turned slightly left. Happened twice and i was directly in line with him and guess what he kicked it where his body was pointing to the left.
thought Minno did well
whoever started that bonti chant before he lined up for his 2nd missed shot in the 3rd quarter maybe u could stfu till he kicks it.
great year heartbreaking loss...cant wait for 2016
to be honest , i believe Bev got the sub wrong all together. Possibly hindsight but i think Honey should have been sub and Caleb started on the ground.Did anyone else think the sub should have been made sooner? Daniel is too good to only get a quarter of footy.
