Coburg Tigers 0.1 4.11 6.14 9.18 (72)

GOALS:
Coburg Tigers: Wheeler 3 Murphy 2 Morton Jordan White Lynch

BEST:
Coburg Tigers: GOURDIS Wheeler White Tuck Power Graham

Let the Gourdis must get a game this week posts begin.

The fact the Goo has been named first best will mean Jack to lots of posters here...

I reckon Goo will be called up for the game V Melb and go straight to Brad Green. Miller back in the 2's...experiment over...Post up forward...

White in for slops/webberley/or Conca

Good to see Tucky played well and that Morts is back on the track

Gourdis best afield in the twos again I don’t mind posty playing but he has hardly ever got in the best for Coburg in his entire career and plays ones with little form behind him. Post should earn his spot – he hardly got involved on saturday night – when he starts playing good twos footy bring him up. Gourdis should be playing ones now. And with Watts, Jurrah and Green to contend with up front must play next week. These guys must be on the edge of being dropped for next week: Hislop, Miller, Post, Webberley Under consideration in the two’s: Gourdis, White, Tuck, Graham If I was to make changes this week: Out: Miller In: Gourdis But they wont because Miller will put his hand up to play his old team So Gourdis’s only chance is to replace Post, maybe Webberley If we don’t play 3 talls down back we are shot and melbourne will win by 60+

Gourdis played on Fevola all day, totally sliced and diced him, Goo spent 10 minutes off the ground with the blood rule in the second qtr and Casey kicked 3 goals into the wind, Fev kicked 1 of them, Gourdis dominated the backline all day..bit more pressure on Harwick

Did you attend SPOCK?

It's a tough one, i would love to see Gourdis get a run but i'd also like to see the Postman be left in the side and gain confidence...........im leading towards Goo at this point

solution is to drop miller, play post forward/backup ruck and bring gourdis into the team... easy.

plain as day that miller is the surplus.

I went today. Only watched the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

That Griff incident happened right in front of me. He got a hit to the neck so I think it really just effected his throat area. Nothing too bad I wouldn't imagine.

It was really freakin' windy. And cold.

White I thought was probably one of our better players. Played on the wing and made great ground. Very fit in comparison. Could have kicked 3 or 4 goals.

Tucky wasn't bad, in and under. Nothing too incredible. Workman like as usual.

Nason got a few touches. Played in the backline a bit more than what he does at Richmond.

Gourdis wasn't too bad defensively.

Graham made contests but just looked stuffed afterwards. Even when he went forward in the 3rd. He'd make the contest but when the ball cleared it would be hands on hips or behind his head trying to get air. It would have been hard for him today with the wind (did I mention how freakin' cold it was????).

I'm not sure I even spotted Morton.

Helbig was quite good too. Especially in the second. Got a fair bit of the ball but his kicking wasn't great.

That's about it from what I saw. Fev looks a lot fitter too.

I was at the game too and damn it was cold and the wind was just swirling but definitely favouring one end of the ground. Coburgs third qtr was fantastic and they took control from about the 15 min mark to kick a couple into the gale. I thought Nason did really well along with white and the goo but graham struggled IMO. I just can't understand why this guy struggles for fitness and always looks tired considering he looks so fit and strong. Could simply be carrying too much upper body strength and not strong enough through the legs.

I reckon Fev is finished to be quite honest. Yes he's lost weight but still looks quite unfit and really didn't do much at all. Just doesn't look interested.

Willie Wheeler looks like a likely type and kept coburg in the game with some great clearances and some nice goals.

Casey fields is a great facility though. :thumbsu:

Yep. Would be hoping that he is gone at the end of the year. No point him playing and keeping one of Post/Astbury/Gourdis/Griffiths in the reserves..Needs to be Tuck'd..
