So no WiFi and dodgy LED signs.

Nice upgrade.

Didn't seem too fazed about the result. He knew it wasn't a proper representation of the sides.

Journo asks 'was not keeping them to a low score disappointing?'

Next question he cuts Brad off 3 times.

Are these people for reals?

Edit** proceeds to ask 'why would they be tired?'

Deadset taking the piss these idiots.

You can see why he pulled the pin early.

I would have taken 7 wins at the start of the season let alone now being 7-5 going into the bye and being a smoky for the top 4. We looked a bit flat today for sure but I thought we kept at it throughout the game which was positive however we simply lacked the class finishers and polish Geelong had on us. Every goal we kicked was an 'effort', we never really kicked a few easy/cheap ones like you need to at away venues. It's bloody hard going there and beating the Cats, not too many sides do it. Bye has come at the right time, must rest, regroup and come out firing the next 3 games, Dogs, Suns and *dons. These 3 games will no doubt shape our season.

Brad Scott was fuming

Apparently the docs couldnt stem the bleeding either.

3rd injury from LED signage this year, 2 cats with injuries from the perth stadium.

I do dislike journos calling Brad livid/furious though. Just stokes the misguided opinion that he over reacts. He was extremely measured in his response all while giving the AFL a clip.

That would require a midfield that moves the ball quickly and accurately.

That was part of the problem but he is a forward that needs to be mobile to make it harder for him to get swamped, if he leads out then comes back in at least he is moving the mob of lemmings with him.

If you do the leading work and the mids do not honour your leads then at least you have done your job and will make it harder for the defenders to spoil you when it does come your way, but if you are just standing there like a statue then you aren't much use to anyone.

Just on the "reality" thing, the great wins were equally real. And in a football competition you actually aren't as good as your last game, you are as good as the 22 games you play though the season. This year, at halfway, that makes North a pretty good side. Looking forward to a week off and then to a run at home after the bye.

Felt this was the least honest football we've played all year, if that makes sense. Other losses have been honorable for want of a better word, and I know we have a couple of key players missing, were up there and have magnificently surpassed expectations.

Still - today we went too far away from what has been working for us. A bit too lairy or something. Anyway, bye will be good then reset with some very winnable games.

We hung in there when it wasn't happening for us but the lads had a crack , just beaten by a better side on the day.

We banged in at the stoppages but were poor in every other aspect of the game, it happens, we are exposed when the pressure isn't on, our defence leaks like a sieve when we don't slow down the ball coming in.

We have lost 5 games, the first one can't read too much because of the conditions but the Port, Melbourne and Geelong games the pressure wasn't good. We pressured Richmond well. Most of the teams we lost to weren't really playing that great.

When you let the opposition have 121 marks vs 61, rack up 418 disposals vs 340 and lose the tackle count 58 vs 73 then you are just allowing them to get too much uncontested ball. I think the boys will be disappointed with that, and the last half of the last quarter was exceptionally poor.

Port loss was our worst for the year. They just kept getting further and further ahead. We had no answers and were never in it. And it was at home.

Today, we clawed it back to 10 points at the start of the last at a ground that visitors never win at, then got rolled.
