Thanks rhaz. So there's nothing out there quite as glowing as CFH's comments indicated...

I didn't say he was BOG - merely that he was clearly showing enough for us that he will be a terrific player.

You sounded a little over excited in one of your posts but I won't trawl back for it ;)

To be fair, I saw Viney's highlights and he look composed and hard at it as we expect. Was telling the trainer to g&gf as he ran off the ground with a busted head! Hard kid.

Quite right CFH, i saw the game and Viney is going to be something very special, Watts played well, he was on a wing most of the game and looked very dangerous in the forward line, and he even got a holding the ball after laying a stinging tackle, but the most pleasing thing was he chased hard and showed that he does have a burst of pace, i have never seen that, perhaps he will bring the same desperation to the seniors.
Ricky Petterd was a little dissapointing, Blease was ok in patches although in the 3rd he ran into a open goal from 10 metres dead in front and missed! Then he kicked a freak from 40 on the boundary- frustrating!

Jurrah looked a step above everyone else and at times no one could lay a glove on him- fitness may be an issue but i would be tempted to play him this week against the Hawks.
Bennell looked pretty sharp most of the game without being outstanding, but for me it was all about one Jack Viney- stay tuned gang this kid can go!:thumbsu:
