The mental side of footy is massively undervalued. We outplayed them in the first half and deserved a 4 goal lead at half time.

No doubt they outplayed us in the second half but if we take a 4 goal lead into half time and apply that scoreboard pressure the result could have been different.

This is what happens when you play against a team of blokes that have been the best players in their team for their entire lives

Their arsey s**t, the little handballs over their heads, the goals from the angles etc - all comes off

They were better for longer. We were pants in the contest. De Boer smashed Cunnington and it flowed on from there

Thought Garner was crucial with his body pressure

Oh well

I felt all our players who had poor games still cracked in and didn’t sook, this is a huge positive.

First half was tight, but don’t think we ever got going really. Midfield was spanked. Back six did well to lock it up for as long they did but couldn’t maintain it.

Difference in class, will have a hard challenge after the bye against the pies who could make us look pretty ordinary.

Cunners didn’t get a lot of favours from the maggots.

I don’t call scragging from behind tagging. Umpires let’s him grab Cunners from behind all day and Cunners doesn’t have the pace to seperate.

As for Mumford, what a disgrace to let a Ruckman grab and push all day and then give him free kicks.

Cunners went down a rung for me today which is a little sad. Hoping he can bounce back.

The HF mass was bad selection.

Dumont struggles in the heat.

LDU a long way off.

TT is beautiful to watch.

Jack a B grade mid but cracks in.

Ahern must be wondering what he has to do looking at the inept midfield.

Shaw did nothing in the box.

Unfortunately plough got it right before the bounce

Higgins out, transfers the tag down the line and whoever he goes to is probably 40% down on their output.

The equivalent of losing 1 and a half of your best mids.

Lost this one at selection.

Ahern to come in for garner this week
