I have absolutely no problems with us winning in the preseason, as long as it does not interupt our preperation for the season propper.

Rest those who need to be rested, play the kids and give them a go, but those that are in the 24(or however many they have!) must go for it 100% and Ratten needs to coach to win.

I dont care about the result - either way, win or loss

Naturally, I'd like for us to win (first time in a while, since Tank mode is now off!) lol

We still play at either the Dome or PP on Saturday.

So I'm Happy as Larry.

It'll be interesting to see the young rucks have a go at each other

Port will have Deluca, Giles & Cockshell all have a shot, look out for Cockshell, he is one massive unit.

Will be there...god help me.

Just want to see a back 6 work together,
and some sort of cohesion at ball ups,
or whatever scientific word they have for it these days.

Changed the drinking rules at the Mausoleum,
so can have a beer in the open,
which should cause mayhem.
Have a beer in the open ?

Welcome to civilisation !!

How I would like to see us line up:

B: Shaun Grigg, Michael Jamison, Bret Thornton
HB: Heath Scotland, Jarrad Waite, Darren Pfeiffer
C: Kade Simpson, Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs
HF: Nick Stevens, Matthew Kreuzer, Brad Fisher
F: Eddie Betts, Brendan Fevola, Jake Edwards
R: Shaun Hampson, Andrew Carrazzo, Ryan Jackson
Int: David Ellard, Cameron Cloke, Simon Wiggins, Dennis Armfield, Ryan Houlihan, Jordan Russell, Paul Bower, Mark Austin

Missing out: Clint Benjamin, Jordan Bannister, Jason Saddington

I'm really looking forward to seeing our youngsters out on the park. Expect a VERY young midfield for the majority of the match, with Jackson, Murphy, Gibbs, Grigg, Pfeiffer, Simmo and Armfield to spend a lot of time in there.

i dont see us winning.

crappy forward line, average midfield.

carlton by 30 i reckon.

even if that is the case..... yes, you have a few good players missing from your side tonight.
If Carlton do win, I will not be completely satisfied beating an under manned side......

bring on the season proper when the "real" stuff begins..... then I will make my judgement...... until then NAB Cup means nothing to me.

I don't really care too much if we win or lose this game. The more important issue is to see whether we start implementing and executing our new gameplan right. That game V Freo was difficult to watch. The gameplan was obviously not second nature to the players yet, and there was a lot of stop start stuff, and indecision. Hopefully Ratten has addressed those issues. Can't really see the point of playing Fev. I only want to see him on the ground for 1-2 quarters. We want Fev to stay fit during the H&A. In terms of individual performances, I'm looking forward to seeing how Jake Edwards goes. Think he'll benefit from Fev's onfield guidance, and am hoping he'll get better quality delivery this week. jake is a top-shelf talent, with massive potential. He just needs to get few good games under his belt, and his development will skyrocket. :)

Handy centreline that. Is there a better one going around?
