Umpiring was incredibly frustrating and inconsistent, but ultimately we failed to get up against a **** team decimated by in game injuries.

Our gameplan is bad, and made worse by a fair few dumb players, and a few of the smarter one playing below their standard. IT all starts at the bounce and **** just gets worse from their. Between our obsession with having bipolar players loose in our defence while opposition guns are loose in theirs, and our hatred of short direct kicks to move the ball forward, we just sabotage ourself at every opportunity.

I'm close to checking out. If I don't take a break from the sport I'm worried that both the industry and my club are going to get worse and I'll end up just giving it away completely.

I am thinking along the same lines. Self-satisfied management like the self-satisfied voters that get scared that their free money (usually compound or investments and NOT earnings) will stop. We are a soft society that will get its lessons soon. Brad's 'houses for playing' rubbish that has been peddled around here is an element of the problem. Is socialism okay if it is amongst the old school boys? Gokangas seems to think classes are relevant. That they should not be divided. The board needs to support itself or and I think it will because been Buckley has had one failure and it is his reputation in the line. Wish I was never brainwashed as a child into football. Better things to do and care about. How many of us other than giantroo are actually part of the club other than spectating?

We are playing a brand of footy that is hard to watch and there is little to say about the game, the team and club in general that hasn't been flogged to death over and over. This cycle of producing rubbish "bitterly disappointing" football just hurts the club.

Haha nah Jy did some great things tonight and was undoubtedly one of our best, but you can't miss a golden opportunity like that. He just has this smartarse vibe about him that pisses me off. Tries too many lookaway handballs and fancy tricks, and was trying to be fancy with the left foot dribbler. Not taking anything away from his performance, but for me that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

At any other club, he'd be the next coming of Jesus Christ. The fact that he can still retain some spark and some arrogance despite the coach he's playing under is actually quite impressive.

- Ben Brown: you cannot have a key forward who demands so much of the ball, even when in poor position, but can't crash a pack. When he's on, he's so dangerous, as shown by his 9 goals in two weeks being him essentially getting off the chain for a quarter or two. But I'd be tempted to make Larkey our no. 1 target or move Taz up forward to chop them out.
