Hate to single out a youngster but I will because I’m a prick. Larkeys kick into the middle of the ground coming out of defensive half was really costly. He had a shocker tonight

Yeah, that was shocking. He tried the fancy thing when he should have gone with the team plan.

8 players on that list played today in a winning side against your mob - think about that for a second

Hang on? You AREN'T on the scum board rolling about laughing?

I stated there was 3-4 solid types on that list of 30000, but all of them had nothing on the 3 pricks in yellow.

Nick Larkey suffered heart palpitations in the last few minutes....
Well he wasn’t alone 🙋🏻‍♂️

Yeah...but it didn’t..did it?

You need to relax mate. Going to blow a valve...It’s a game.

You fluked it, but it was sadly all to no avail anyway.

................that's your season disappearing down the race.

Harden up princesses, they were tougher for longer. Some of our blokes need to take a good hard look at themselves, especially our senior players except Brown and Tarrant.

Excellent
Brown
Tarrant
Williams

Very good
Zuhraar

Okay
Anderson
Polec

Below Average
The rest

Don't necessarily agree with each name there but agree with the sentiment. Had no more than half a dozen good contributors and nearly won. Really disappointed but some lessons are learned the hard way and bigger moments await.

I'm about to head out soon. Want to grab a drink?

Drink? Whats happened to the good shit?

I can guarantee you aren't loving it as much as Snake_Baker and I loved your three year long collective meltdown over the doping disaster.

You’re not suggesting that’s over? I’ve got 8 & 6 year old kids and I’ve taught them that the bombers are drug cheats.

Proudest day of my life was when the teacher called me in because my daughter said Essesdon players take drugs to another kid.

I said, “They do and the records show it”

It is legit extraordinary how they claim they're not carelords about having rivalry with Norf, yet they are here, posting and lurking.

Strange.

We got pantsed in the middle. Lost the clearances, and it was chasing tail after the first 20 minutes.

The players never gave up, and we had it won until the last 30 seconds. Plenty to work on, and not the end of the world.

Yep, when he's on, Ray Chamberlain is impossible to stop.

Bloke is a deadset germ.

Loves giving the big sides a good run, because the little turd wants to be adored by the crowd.

Yep, under the delusion he's some part of the game when in reality, he should be as noticeable as the 50m line, or goal square.

Good:

- Jed's pressure, Zurhaar's scoreboard and physical impact...Hurley off the ground helped us in the 4th.
- Tarrant, was a marshall all night.
- Brown... Colossal.
- Marley annihilated Fantasia.
- Turner was nearly invisible but that's because he was rendering Saad the same.
- That we got back into the game in the last speaks volumes for Shaw and how he's changed our team, despite the loss.

Bad:

- Unusually for us we got hammered in clearances & I50s.
- Goldy given a bath at stoppages by uber spud Clarke.
- Cunners needs to develop an anti-tag strategy but fmd the AFL changed the rules a few years back to stop the Abletts & Pendleburys of the world from being mauled & impeded before they actually took possession. Absolutely no different but Cunners is getting ZERO protection. Needs to flail around a little more like Sheil.
- on Sheil, I hope he brought spare undies tonight after he soiled himself under that high ball.
- It looked bad at the game so I checked on the replay i just finished and I counted 14 times Thompson trailing his man to a mark. Just awful tonight and looked like a guy in his last year.
- JMac and LMac. Struggling to explain it but they are so, so bad. LMac's is just so ineffective and his decision making is for the tip. Not having seen them since Shaw took over, JMac's turnstiles stood out like balls tonight.
- Hrovat. Had some good goal assists but his soft efforts are coach killers.
- 105 combined disposals from Cunners, Ahern, Simpkin, Dumont, Anderson, Ziebell & Anderson.
- Most others down on recent output too, bobbed up here and there but just not enough of an even contribution outside of Brown, Tarrant & maybe Zurhaar.
- Taylor looks like he's got game but not ready yet.
- Ball retention in the last 2 mins. Awful. Ats, WTF?
- Umpiring. Flat out dreadful and on the balance of things probably cost us the game. Take ya pick for worst of the night....I'll go with Dumont's deliberate OOB.
- Commentary. I'm an unabashed fan of Huddo but he was a ****ing ess sycophant tonight. His off- the-charts energy calling ess goals vs. near-monotone calling ours was disgusting. Reminded me of Eddie calling Collingwood losses back in the day. Garry Lyon's extended lynching of Cunnington was offensive.
- The slim hope we had for finals is gone and yes, we're gonna finish in no-mans land, again. Shaw getting the gig will make it worthwhile for me but f*** a duck we sure know how to NOT get a primo draft pick in a dead-end season.

Hard to put into words just how much I hate Essendon and their condescending, arrogant, fwit supporters. That one really hurt tonight.

If the siren went 30 seconds earlier:

I would love to see his free kick ratios to the bigger clubs, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was very favourable to them.

He did us over in that prelim against WCE. He loves the crowd cheering him the little shit stain.

Shaw looked gutted

He just lost any chance of getting the coaching gig - making the same mistakes at selection as scotts did.

Dropping durdin cost us big time - first of all it got Jmac back in the team and he was his usual pox self.

The main issue was having pittard playing as the third tall and in turn losing his rebound.

Hoise should of been in the side if wood wasn’t playing - lacked the extra target

Thought it was pretty clear at Taylors first game he wasn't ready. Good form in the VFL or not.

I thought we brought in Hosie for this exact case where Wood/Garner aren't fit/available. It should've been his first game, unless he's still learning how we play and hasn't had enough time to train with the seniors. I don't know. Bit of a blunder decision really.
