All these bombers fu** wits coming in here gloating can get f’ed. The loss hurts but atleast I’ll sleep tonight knowing that they as so far off winning a final let alone a flag as they are a bunch of front running squibs that play a style that WILL not stand up in finals.

I didn’t have an issue with the 45,000 * numpties at the game today or the few mildly respectful posters who have come on here (the trolls on the other hand can gagf). But at the end of the day, all these people have to be comfortable with the fact that they support a team with the slimiest human being in the AFL. So they have my sympathy.

LOL.

18 disposals
12 marks
6 goals
9 marks inside 50
6 contested marks
9 score involvements

He ***ing SLAUGHTED BOTH of your key defenders.

SLAUGHTERED THEM!

BOTH!

They are apparently All Australian.

Not Tarrant.

The Hrovat hate is strange right now. Yes he missed a couple of tackles but he was in our top half of performers today.

We have as many morons as any other board in this place.

With some astute recruiting and natural development we are not at all that far off though.

Far closer than them to a serious finals run.

Hrovat is good with ball in hand and was again today. He is too small and too slow for AFL imo but his touch forward of centre was sound.

If he was on either of McKenna or Saad, then he's partially responsible for their impact on the game.

Small yes, but his pace isn't an issue.

Did some seriously good evasive work under heavy pressure to set up two particular goals (out of his 4 goal assists) today.

I think we drifted too far from that hard ethos under Shaw, there were signs last week that the foot had come off the gas somewhat and that we needed to turn it up a notch or two if we were going to beat Essendon. That didn't really happen. There were moments but it wasn't a kind of intensity that we showed against better teams.

As someone who really wanted to see Ahern given more of a go, was disappointed with his lack of impact. We are very reliant still on the Goldy/Cunnington combo and it was pretty ineffective today. Goldy was beaten by a mediocre ruckman and Ben is too predictable when he is tagged, 7 CPs and 1 Clearance is as bad as Ben plays. Ziebell didn't have much impact helping out. Dumont was poor. Jy was well below his recent standard and Anderson was his usual battering ram, but it takes a toll on him, he only played 64% ToG. Ahern 60%. Cunnington 78%. It seemed like it was a bad game to rest LDU.

I thought 52 tackles was pretty ordinary today, it was the kind of game that demanded 70-90 tackles and while many players had the intent, our execution was poor today. We played much better in the last quarter but that last two minutes was some of the dumbest defensive decision making we have shown. Combined with the team selection it had very much a Brad Scott vibe to it today.

Ben Brown had a cracker today, was pretty good after his recent woes. Zurhaar had another good game. Tarrant was a rock down back, Thomas was good in parts, he has a lot of skill, just doesn't have the body to be a midfielder atm. We didn't have a lot of positional winners, which probably highlights why we lost, we had a good last quarter bar the last 2 minutes, shame we couldn't hang on for an unlikely win given how much went wrong today.

This is my feel also.

We need a full preseason training aethod to go with the hardness.

Interested to see how we respond on the road against a top 4 side.

Shattered. But Shaw got something out of the players in that last quarter when it looked like we'd lose by 5 goals.
Completely agree. I thought we looked a bit rough half way through the second. Was worried about how the 4th was going to be after that 3rd. Seems to be another gear that hasn’t been there for... a while?

He's not slow, but doesn't have the explosive speed of the mark that other little blokes have.

I know Browny hasn't got it in him, but in the 4th Q, after he kicked his 5th or 6th snag, I wish someone, probably Zurhaar, went and ruffled the hair of that campaigner Hooker, who was down on his haunches, sucking in the big ones, and actually looking a tad distressed, golden opportunity gone begging.

Boys were cooked, No spread at all. Just predictable down the line.

If Tipingwuti DOESN'T kick a goal RIGHT out of his arse with 90 SECONDS TO PLAY:

1) There would be ZERO criticism of Hrovat
2) 75% less criticism of MacMillan (The obsessives cannot be helped)
3) Not a SINGLE scum supporter on this website.
