WAFL prelim currently on ABC. Very entertaining and high quality game between South Freo and Claremont. Souths by 4 points at quarter time.

Current Freo players:
Souths - Thornton, Duffield, Gilmore
Claremont - Medders, Warren

Former Freo players / trip down memory lane (apologies if I miss anyone - this is off the top if my head!):
Souths - Siegert, Ugle, Clucas, Head
Claremont - AJ, Bandy, Toia; and of course Ash Prescott is coach.


Medhurst is leading and marking strongly - kicked 2.2 and set one up in the first quarter. Duffman very classy in defence playing on AJ.

Claremont got on top in the 2nd quarter - leading by 14 points at half-time. Medhurst still the pick of Freo players, but had a quieter second quarter as Claremont's lesser lights dominated.

A great Bulldogs -VS- Lions WAFL Grand Final next weekend... Freo as a whole are doing really, really well.

Sandover Media on tomorrow night at the caz, some are saying ex-Docker Daniel Bandy is a fav to win.
