tbh i wouldn't mind brophey getting a game this season.
Yeah I thought he played reasonably well.

Barlow and Mzungu pretty much won that game singlehandedly for Peel. Can't imagine Barlow not playing for the Dockers next week unless they're really going all out to tank.

Will be funny watching them lose the clearances against Richmond when one of their best clearance players just got done piling up 40+ possessions in the twos.

JJK managed to play with his injury last year so maybe Nelson will also as he appears to be made of stern stuff, not cotton wool like some.
He was making a joke about Hackdorn from the Worst Australian news paper saying that JJK would be out for the season last year when he injured his elbow. ;)

Couldn't kick a score with the wind, no way they're going to get anything into it

East Perth have been very poor today, hopefully it's not an indication of what's to come for the eagles
Really poor coaching that started right from the selection table.

No way known Snadden should have played today but was upgraded ahead of more deserving players because...well... we all know. He is a listed player.

So many confusion position changes but the decision to play McInness as a spare man in defence when East Perth were kicking with a typhoon is just crazy. Wrecked the structure and gave the team nothing to kick to. Then they shifted him forward in the last quarter and the dynamic changed.

Stark difference in attitude between the listed players of both teams.

In the reserves game:

Tunbridge - 19 touches and 2 goals
Mutimer - 20 touches
Allen - 19 touches, 9 marks and 2 goals
Karpany - 17 touches and a goal
Maginness - 22 and 2 goals

I can't see karpany playing another league game again this year. Given are relatively healthy injury list and gaining sheed & Brown over the next few weeks spots are going to be pretty tight. If Tunbridge and Mutimer get a game before him he should just pack his bags and go home.

In more important WAFL news, Souths are top of the ladder after Subi lost yesterday :D

Top in the resies and second in the colts, great year for the red and whites.
Souths will finish below Claremont and Swan Districts in the colts. Id argue that East Perth at full strength would dispatch them in a finals game as well.
