1.3 to Dugg. Hope they haven't been sitters

Sheed is class. Supposedly on limited minutes and gets 26 disposals and a goal.

All the Eagles sounded like they played well. A lot of midfielders putting their hand up which will make selection interesting.

Mostly snaps
Hopefully he feels less pressure at EP and can just fix his radar without worrying and passing it off as he would at AFL level.

He knows how to bob up in the right spots running forward so it would be handy if he wasn't so shit at kicking goals

So does redden and duggan warrent a selection this week? Statistically redden looks really good while duggan looks good as well.

Rawlings on the radio yesterday seems to indicate that Redden gets a week to get some touches and confidence and straight back in , but maybe he was just being supportive.

I reckon he comes straight back in ( Redden ) .

I don't think Ellis will be back this week they should perservere with Nelson. Redden should come back in and you would think Sheed needs a few more weeks in the WAFL. Duggan was really good and McKenzie got back to somewhere near his best. Loved Duggan's defensive work in the midfield 7 tackles i fantastic.

You gotta love the 7 tackles from the dugg. Cockatoo would have been a better pick though

They are best 22, but hard to drop anyone after Thursday night.

Ideally in the coming weeks

Ins
Hill, Sheed, Redden, Duggan

Outs
McGinnity, Hutchings, ?, ?

Would like to see Nelson stuck with, but he's on a knife edge with his selection. Jetta and Butler might also come under scrutiny for their spots as well.

If we drop someone who comes in and kicks 4 goals and has a good game . What does that say to the squad ? The boys in the 2's .

Hence why I quantified my statement by saying
-it's hard to drop someone after Thursday
-Over the coming weekS

Ie not next week, but in the near future

Really strong performance from East Perth today, particularly the second quarter where they set up the win

Had a few blokes really pushing to be selected for the Eagles - redden, Duggan, Ellis and sheed all had games that would be worthy of elevation. Obviously all 4 won't come in especially since they'll have to find room for hill but they put their name forward in no uncertain terms

Tunbridge and karpany both had the best games I've seen them play. Colledge was also pretty good

Mckenzie was just ok but did stand up well in the last quarter when south were pressing

Lamb did some nice things as well as some stupid things but overall had little influence

Giles was meh and missed a couple of goals he should have kicked

Brophy was really good after quarter time

Mutineer worked hard but didn't make a great deal of difference

Cole was solid but made a couple of mistakes at times that were/could have been costly

Lucas was injured early. McInnes had done reasonably well before being injured

One thing that stood out was how much we've missed shreds left boot - it's a thing of beauty. Think he needs one more week at east Perth though to build match fitness. Played the second half mainly at half forward after playing in the centre in the first half

Hutchings worst game has been better than Redden or Duggans best . so why would you have them replace him? serious question
