How's Shred and Redden clearance and contested game? Genuine influence?
What position/role is Karps playing?
Shaw with 3. Is Mackenzie getting chopped?
Will be better once Souths evict the co-tenants. Feels like a homeswest house co-sharing with that purple mob.
1.8 in the last quarter to Souths, bah!
Cost us the game
1.3 to Dugg. Hope they haven't been sitters
Probably set shots.
KeyserSoze Were you in the wooden grand stand? I was the big fat campaigner in the gray polo. lol
I know Sheed was on limited game time, but does anyone know how limited? 2 and a half quarters, 80 minutes, 3 quarters? How far away is he from playing a full game and eligible for selection, we've definitely been missing him this year.
He strung some very good football together last year before a serious hamstring so he has got it in him. Hasnt stepped it up this year. At his age and with his size he should be able to dominate some wafl games. Hes more of a hit up player than a contested marking beast though and wafl delivery doesnt help. I think he stays on the listAm I on my lonesome here???
Or do any others think that McInnes has run his course and is now very much left in "no mans land"... not an AFL backup ruckman...not an emerging WAFL KPP and certainly not dominating at the lower level.
Was happy enough with the selection when we drafted him ... but it hasn't worked out thus far and doesn't look like it will.

With these lacklustre performances by Lamb in the WAFL you have to wonder if any Vic clubs would even be interested?
Pretty devastating if true, but would explain the fact his application isn't matching his sublime talentI think his efforts are lacklustre because he's already secured a team for next year. Hope I'm wrong.
Go and watch the Demons then m8I want Sheed and Duggan to have another week in the WAFL purely so I can go and watch them next week. Looking forward to heading down and seeing some quality play up close for once.
As I don't watch or go to the WAFL, what position does Karpany mainly play?
In his draft year there were predictions that he was going to climb up the draft order and be taken by gws in the high teens.I was really happy we got him but just seems like a waste of space nowHe's too tall/immobile to impact as a key tall and not tall enough to ruck. These were my concerns at the time we drafted him. Similar to Ash Hansen in that respect but the game has changed.
Really happy to see Karpany, Duggan and Redden play well. Given Redden would have never met the half the team (?) its a pretty good effort.

As I've said earlier I generally go to games to watch the Eagles players so don't always watch the east Perth players so hadn't really noticed Gorter in past games
Definitely noticed him today though. Was very very good and was easily the best of the defenders. Really liked his game
Also thought Fraser played a very good game - pity for him he's not 6 inches taller as he'd be playing AFL if he was

Its a shame because we really do need that next young kpf that's ready to take the next step,if he had come on like everyone hoped we could focus even more on our midfield, as it stands either this draft or next we will have to use a high draft pick on a key forward( barring trading obviously)Agree, problem is his mobility has got worse. Guys like Kennedy and Jack Riewoldt mobility got better as they got older. Would have been better off if he was 194cm not 197cm.
Dobson had a fair bit of it but his disposal and decision making was poor. Made an absolute coach killer pass in the last few minutes that cost a goal.Fraser is probably ep best player though.
Gorter has been good not just this week but for a while now.
Barney did you watch the colts ? How good was Mitch Dobson again ?
I hope we rookie him.
Dont like Amos playing ruck though reduces his chances of getting drafted
Good to seee Connor De Campo back and using the footy so well.
Why who are they playing next week? [emoji6]Go and watch the Demons then m8
He's not really a dominant contested player though. He used to get a lot of CP and tackles but I don't think he affects the contest as much as those stats suggest. He just not strong enough to break through congestion.Hmm not pleased to hear Redden less effective in clearances.
That's why we recruited him yeah?
Dobson did make a clanger, but did you miss the big pack mark that he took with less than a minute to go, to stop Souths last venture forward, I think that made up for his mistakeDobson had a fair bit of it but his disposal and decision making was poor. I was disappointed the U18s didn't give Amos a game this year, just took his registration fee and ignored him. EP went very tall yesterday with four fwd/rucks but none of the four went that well.

I kinda like him as a high or defensive HFF - he's a very good overhead mark and can find the goals. Kinda see him as a bit of a Brad Ebert type.
If we hope he'll be our Priddis replacement then we are gonna be disappoint
