Honestly this board would celebrate hard if EP won the flag and the likes of Watson or Rioli won the Simpson.

Good on them.
This board would be too busy complaining that every player that played in the grand final should have been playing AFL all year.

Let’s be honest, if spuds like those are the best our reserves have, it explains a lot of issues we’ve had down there. Maybe a tad harsh on Ameduri there but Blee is gross and Frase is a battler.

Part of the issue was the lack of players who played close to a full season. McGinnity finished two votes behind the leaders despite missing a quarter of the season. Anderson missed a big chunk too. Partington was up around the top of the count until he got called up to AFL.
