The best under 18 kids in wa rarely play even half colts seasons

The 18's program hasn't kicked off yet has it? Everyone is still with their clubs so is a pretty reasonable list to post I would've thought..

Might just be perception but does not seem as many under age kids playing up in the league this year.

I can see Luke English and Ian Hill potentially playing a run of games in the seniors in the back end of the year, perhaps also Rivers, Stack and Joyce as well.

We noticed that Cameron didnt make the U18 squad? Any idea why?

Good point

From what I've seen of him this year (Limited) he has been good. Would be interesting to know. I wouldn't be put off by that. He's a player worth drafting.

They still can add players form permitting to the 18s squad apparently....so still time yet for players who initally missed out...EF premiership ruck Nic Watson from last year has been playing up back for EF, because the powers above thought at 197cm he was too small to ruck...not as good ....been back in the ruck last two games and dominated apparently... leading EF to victory.... hopefully he may get a late berth

Where is this information released?

Where is this information released?

I compile it myself using the best player information from the WAFL stats pages, combined with the coaches votes from the footy budget.

Hopefully a few lads who didn't make the 18's squad get noticed.

Nathan Murray for example. He racks 'em up against academy players. Daniel Rowe is another. Filimone Mulavou is a big powerful player.

If you have a club in focus request, I'd be happy to post it.

Yea Iam big fan rate him similar to Hill.
He is a better crumbing forward than Hill.
Though Hill has better endurance
Really really looking forward to seeing Luke Foley in the champs.
He reminds me of Patrick Cripp's when I rated him super highly his draft year
and no one else did

I have to admit, I was upset about Carlton drafting Cripps when we did (huge mistake).

Cripps for me in his draft year lacked the speed to play midfield and I thought his height spurt would hinder his ability in the midfield. I was certainly wrong on those accounts.

What made you like Cripps in his junior days?

His hands where amazing in tight, and was always composed under pressure.
Very good decision maker natural footballer.
