Round 11 was spread over the long weekend and produced some interesting results with three tips being a popular score for the weekend. Keys, swannies and myself went one better though, tipping all four games correctly with myself picking up the bonus point to give me five points for the round.

With 11 rounds complete waflfootyfacts remains in the lead on 37 points with myself sitting second on 35 points. gaskin stays third on 32 with FiveStrings in fourth on 31 while Monocle remains in fifth position with a score of 30.

Round 12 Fixtures

Claremont vs East Fremantle at Claremont Oval (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Perth vs Subiaco at Lathlain Park (Saturday, 2:15pm)
South Fremantle vs Peel Thunder at Fremantle Community Bank Oval (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Swan Districts vs West Perth at Steel Blue Oval (Sunday 2:10pm, margin)
Bye: East Perth

Round 12 is upon us and represents the halfway point of the season proper with four matches spread over the weekend. With the redevelopment complete Claremont are back home at Claremont Oval and will play their first home game at their redeveloped ground against East Fremantle. Perth have another home game this week playing host to Subiaco while South Fremantle will take on Peel Thunder in the other Saturday game. The TV game this week sees Swan Districts battle West Perth on Sunday and you can see that game on Channel 7 as there is no AFL coverage that day on free to air TV.

The other grades are in their usual timeslots of 9am for the Colts and 11:30am for the Reserves with the exception of the Sunday game with all games beginning five minutes earlier.

After such a good run of weather so far this season, the coming weekend isn't looking too flash with late showers expected on Saturday and showers expected for most of Sunday. The rain on Saturday is set to hit later in the day so we could get most games played in dry weather before the showers set in. It'll be a bit cooler too so you may need some warmer attire if you're planning on attending any of the games this week.

Well I hope everyone had a great long weekend as we get back into the swing of things in the WAFL and tipping wise. Happy tipping!!

Well Round 12 proved to be a pretty good round results wise with some good games taking place over the weekend. It was a bit tough if you were a tipster with two a pretty common score for this week. Kram, andana, Freofalcon, Keys and Military_man all took a punt on the Falcons and it paid off with the Falcons getting up in a close one. Keys was also bang on the margin of eight points to pick up four points for the round.

With 12 rounds complete, waflfootyfacts remains in the lead on 39 points with myself in second on 37 points while gaskin stays third with 34 points. The top five is rounded out by FiveStrings sitting on 33 in fourth place with Monocle staying fifth on 32.

Round 13 Fixtures

East Fremantle vs Perth at East Fremantle Oval (1:40pm, margin)
Claremont vs Swan Districts at Claremont Oval (2:15pm)
Subiaco vs East Perth at Leederville Oval (2:15pm)
West Perth vs South Fremantle at HBF Arena (2:15pm)
Bye: Peel Thunder

We head into Round 13 now with all matches back on Saturday this week. Claremont play their second of three home games in a row with Swan Districts travelling to battle the Tigers, Subiaco are back at Leederville Oval in a duel of the co-tenants against East Perth in what promises to be a pretty good game while West Perth are back at Joondalup to take on South Fremantle in another match which is also looks to be quite intriguing. The TV game this week is the early game with East Fremantle back at Shark Park to play host to Perth in their first of back-to-back away matches. That game gets underway at 1:40pm and leads into Channel Seven's AFL coverage later that evening on 7mate.

The other grades are as usual this week with start times of 9am and 11:30am for the Colts and Reserves with the exception of the East Fremantle vs Perth fixture which sees the Colts' begin at 8:25am while the Reserves' bouncedown is at 10:55am.

The good weather is set to continue for the weekend at this stage with mostly sunny conditions and 22 degrees expected. The morning will be cool though so you might need some warmer clothing if you're at the grounds early.

Wel another interesting weekend of WAFL footy awaits and hopefully we'll some more close games again on Saturday. Happy tipping!!
