Round Two produced a couple of good matches and also a couple of upsets which proved tricky for most tipsters with a score of two proving to be fairly common for the round. swannies bucked the trend though and selected all four games correctly this week while Kram got the bonus point to boost his score to three for Round Two.

That score of four sees swannies move into the lead on eight points with gaskin, hansie, Kram and myself all sitting in equal second position on seven points each.


Round Three Fixtures

Claremont vs East Fremantle at Claremont Oval (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Subiaco vs Swan Districts at Leederville Oval (Saturday 2:15pm, margin)
West Perth vs South Fremantle at HBF Arena (Sunday, 12:45pm)
Peel Thunder vs Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium (Sunday, 2:15pm)

Onto Round Three which sees the round split between Saturday and Sunday with two games on each day. Claremont and East Fremantle will begin Round Three on Saturday as they face off at Claremont Oval which is also the Tigers' first home game of the season. On Sunday, West Perth will tackle South Fremantle up at Joondalup in an early starting fixture while in the other Sunday match Peel Thunder are back at home in Mandurah to host Perth. Unfortunately there is no telecast game again this week so the margin game in Round Three is the Match of the Round with the top two sides after the first two rounds of the season in Subiaco and Swan Districts to face off on Saturday afternoon at Leederville Oval. The match is sure to be a good one with both sides in good form and looking to continue their early season momentum.

In the other grades there's not too much change with the Colts and Reserves' matches between Claremont and East Fremantle and Subiaco versus Swan Districts to start at their usual times on Saturday at 9am and 11:30am respectively. It's the same story on Sunday for the Peel Thunder versus Perth fixture with the same start times for the Colts and Reserves as well. For West Perth vs South Fremantle though it's a little different with the Colts to play on Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm while the Reserves have an earlier start on Sunday morning with that match beginning at 10am.

The weather is looking excellent for the coming weekend at this stage with maximums of 25 and 27 predicted for Saturday and Sunday respectively with sunny conditions expected. The mornings might be a little cool though so you might need a jumper if you're around the Colts games in the morning.

Well it's been an exciting start to the season on the field and also in the tipping as well so hopefully we'll see that continue in Round Three with some close, exciting games to take place over the weekend. Happy tipping!!
