Here are the stats for Eagles playing in the WAFL...

Glass 26 Disposals, 10 Marks
Chambers 24 Disposals, 8 Marks, 2 Goals
McDougal 23 Disposals, 4 Marks
Collica 20 Disposals, 5 Marks
Johnson 16 Disposals, 3 Marks, 3 Goals
Lynch 12 Disposals, 5 Marks, 4 Goals
Seaby 12 Disposals, 5 Marks
Staker 8 Disposals, 2 Marks
Hansen 2 Disposals, 2 Marks

I couldn't get the East Perth stats but I know Porno got injured and Humm had a very good game... I'll try and post them later... I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these guys come in against the pies.

Doogs should be pushing for a spot, especially with another tall going down (Cox). Hope Glass gets a run soon, I still believe he'll be a good prospect down back.

Thanks for the update by the way, Sera. Keep em coming.

I heard that Glass had an exceptional game and that McDougall and Chambers were very good.

Nice to see Collica getting his hands on the ball.

Perth has a by so I expect Glass and Macca will travel to Pieland even if they don't play.

Interesting..
For a guy who plays the sort of game as Glass to get 26 disposals is pretty incredible. Was he playing FB?

At this stage, that looks a lot like Chambers should be getting a game- his form has been red hot for a while, and if the Cousins/Kerr/Wirrpunda trio aren't cherry ripe, Cal would have to be next in line.

With Jako most likely getting the job on Rocca, Doogs could get lucky. Collica would be nice, but you'd have to make some tough decisions to find him a place.

I also didn't see EP, but apparently Porno got 4 goals before going down with a corky. If it is bad enough for him to miss a week, that's appalling luck, if not, I'd like him in the team.

Willo had 3 goals before he went off. Yes it was a good effort by Glassy and if McIntosh wasn't in such fantastic form he would probably be in the team. Also a good effort from McDougal to get 23 disposals with only 4 marks... shows he is working hard at ground level and running hard into space to take a handball and/or onto the loose ball.

I hope Collica get's picked before Glass, god knows he deserves it, possibly for Morrison, who hasn't been great lately.
Chambers could come in for Adkins who was concussed late.
Wirra for Munro, Kerr will get back in if fit as well.
If Coxy's unfit then Doogs or Johnson should come in, however i'm not sure if both are ready for AFL at this stage?

I dont know what more Glass has to do. He's been racking up great stats as a key backman, and yet can't get a game ahead of Carroll unless its as a bench warmer. Not happy Woosha.

Glass should come in, but at the expense of who?? As much as i hate to admit it, Carroll hasnt been too crap recently and is stuffing up less often ;)

Collica and Chambers are both likely to be picked this week also

If Cox is out, then we need a decent back up ruck, and I don't think McDougall would be ready to be backing up the ruck at AFL standard in what will only be his 3rd game.

I say that if Cox is out we bring in Seaby for his debut.

I'd like to see McDougall fit into the side somewhere and play out a game at CHF.

If Cox Read and Adkins are the injured omissions, I'd like to see something like

IN: Seaby, McDougall, Wooden

OUT: Cox, Read, Adkins

If Cox is injured then we need a second ruckman to help Gardiner, if it means bringing in Seaby earlier than expected then so be it

Also, i think it would be best if McDougall strung together another game or two in the WAFL before bringing him in

id prefer Lynch and Chambers to Wooden and Doogs

And then there's the dilemma of fitting in Kerr and Wirra, with Collica, Read and Gaspar all arguably in our best 22 aswell.
Read did an ankle last week and should be rested IMO. Gaspar needs to test the hammys before being bought back in. Our back line has functioned quite well and therefore we don't really need Collica or Glass but if you are going to reward their WAFL form maybe you could drop Green Munro or Carroll for one of them (although Green Munro and Carroll have done nothing wrong).

Do we need to make changes for the sake of making changes?

I actually meant that when fit, Read, Collica and Gaspar are arguably in our best 22.

I agree though, don't make changes just for the sake of it.

I don't think Read will play - which is a pity because he could have been a good match up on Brodie Holland.

I'd like to see Lynch return - maybe play him on Anthony Rocca down back?

What's wrong with Cox? Big blow if he cant play as we would then have virtually no backup for Gardiner.

Would love to see Doogs get a game at CHF, particularly if Rocca is playing for Collingwood and Jako will have to go back.
