please tell me more?

I'm in a "dead spot" for free to air. I've got an aerial on the roof but only get intermittent signal depending on the weather, which is very frustrating to watch. The wafl would be my only reason to watch fta so I'm not spending any more money on equipment. I hope they put the match replays on their website so I can watch that way

Must be a real pain losing signal all the time anyway there's bound to be a replay on their website .

Yea they had an intra club on Saturday morning. About half a dozen WCE players were involved, from memory Barrass, Newman, Powell, Adamson, Brophy, Waterman and possibly Main? Barrass the standout, good enough for a WAFL debut but dont get carried away about anything higher. Newman kicked a couple but had a bad habit of playing forward of his opponent waiting for someone to get him the ball. Waterman worked well with Shanahan in the centre.

How was Adamson?

Really cant help. A lot of players looked like each other and they kept swapping positions and guernseys. Was hard to tell who was who at times.

If you do go down, and happen to see who is warming up for the reserves, can you post who is playing from us? If Hotline is playing I might watch some reserves.

From East Perth it's mostly underage players. Blair Della Franca is the only 2015 prospect of interest at the moment, but there are a few others who are "interesting". The 2016 prospects i hope are playing are Alex Di Placido, Sam Powell-Pepper, Jed Kemp and Sam Wright.

From Claremont it's more of a mix but Louise Hogan-Wilson, Roger Bailey, Eddie Simpson, Russell Wynne from the 2015 group and Sam Petrevski-Seton, Jeremy Goddard, Jake Waterman, Bailey Banfield would be the main underage players i hope to see play.

Preseason form is pretty important for kids looking to earn themselves a champs call up. There are a few underage players from 2014 that will be getting games in more prominent roles and then there are the best of 2014's U16's who start playing colts from day dot of their 17th year.

Not a problem. I generally piss off for lunch during the reserves game but if any eagles players are playing i might watch.

Good question.

Three of the 29-man squad have been named for the Royals. Hurn was in the squad but the club article says he's not playing. So unless there's going to be some late change, at least one of Duggan-Waterman-Powell have to play in Adelaide.

Edit: or maybe Barrass will be a late in for Hurn? Just realised he's not in the Royals' side either
