Watching Sinclair stitch up both Ryder and Lobbe in the ruck tells me Lycett still needs to get tougher. The "built like tarzan, plays like Jane" seems apt

He needs a 2 week training session with Mumford to get some angry pills
Last year he was playing angry. Maybe got comfortable with Cox leaving over the off season. Glad Sinclair is playing the 'keep him keen' decoy role.

Was the given a week off and came back as the sub against Port but had little impact.
Don't be sucked in with possession counts and supercoach scores. Nelson came on late and filled the corridor brilliantly and made sure we had options and closed down Port brilliantly. He basically was running his ar$e off blocking Port. Great coaching and well executed. Yes no possessions but did exactly what I expect the coach asked him to do.

I need to re-watch the match. Pretty much spent the last 45 minutes hiding behind my couch so may have missed a bit. Would be good to watch knowing the result, I'm sure I'd see a lot more.

Not sure to be honest. I was surprised to hear it was a hand injury as I thought he had hurt his playing at Easts..
He hurt his hand (ruptured tendon?) early in a EP game but played on and kicked four goals from memory.

Yep you're right. He got a low hard pass from Tunbridge but I'm not sure if it was the ball or the spoil from the opposition which caused the damage, I would have thought it was about 4 weeks ago so he should be almost due to be back in training. I was there a couple of weeks ago and he was on the ground but protecting his right hand where he had a finger in a protective shield

Colledge named in the guts for East Perth, Brophy and Nelson in defence, Barrass oddly at full-forward with Waterman alongside him in a pocket, Powell on a flank and Karpany on an extended bench. The emergencies Lycett, McGinnity and Lucas aren't named although at least one and probably two will be released you'd think

Xavier Ellis is named in the reserves as is Adamson, no Dylan Main again it seems.

How is Waterman and Powell going in the 2s. I was really looking forward to seeing more of Powell this year, maybe next year.

I hope it ends up looking like this.

B: P Brophy - T Barrass - M Lague
HB: G Moss - R Powell - J Nelson
C: C Hart - B Colledge - K Lucas
HF: S Payne - J Oakley-Nicholls - M Howlett
FF: C Wulff - S Lycett - S Hille

F: P Johnson - A Waterman - B Lee

Int. J Ameduri, M Karpany, T Shanahan, N Blee

(McGinnity held over as emergency for West Coast thus limiting his future selection potential).

Well, if Barrassment actually does get a run at FF, would be great for depth if he did well, worked okay for Anderson 3 weeks ago (even if it was vs Perth). Wonder if he's a decent shot at goal.

He's a great field kick so who knows. Could be the next Gov
