Howson has two goals so far in the reserves - would love to see him earn a league debut in the near future....
Great, hope he gets a chance to play a few games for the seniors before he goers to Peel.

I doubt it. His two goals have been from three straight kicks. No marks, no tackles, no handballs. He won't get a game this year. Would be good to see how he goes in League though.
Any mention or sightings of the other boys named in that article so far this year? Shannon Taylor & Chris Yarran? For anyone who thinks we should have taken Garlett at the time, I remind you of this:

Really? You would touch him at that state?
Good on the kid for starting to turn it around, but I highly doubt the results would've been the same if he was picked up. It would just further reinforce in his mind that his talent can get him where he wants without the application.

4 goals now for Howson
I am busy this arvo but the league game should be a cracker.
The Yalgoo flash has one already in the league game
SOS playing for the tigers, ankle mustn't be as bad as they said yesterday
Probably did to want to risk twisting it again in the rain and wet - higher risk.
Really? Sounds like he was dropped to me.
That wasn't what Ross said at the post presser. He said they wanted Alex to play as the conditions suited his game, but woke up with no confidence his ankle would hold up and so they didn't. Not sure Ross wouldn't have said straight if he was being dropped due to form.
I still don't buy it. If they really have no confidence in the ankle you do not play him in the wafl. For sure SOS may not have been 100%, but if SOS is a critical part of the team you don't make him play wafl with a risky ankle. It sounds to me like Lyon is simply managing the publicity regarding the decision as much as anything.
