Will be interesting if Waterman can crack Reserves and Seniors by the end of the year, no pressure :p

Both Hardisty and Court played reserves /Foxtel cup games last year as underage players. Waterman is a long way ahead of both.

I'm a little disappointed we haven't gone to the effort of involving him at training like Melbourne, Gold Coast and North have done recently. Surely it would be of a massive benefit.

Maginness was at the game last night so that may make it tough. I don't think Main was there though so hopefully he gets a run.

And maybe Smith could play?

Can not see any teams listed for tonight's match , does anyone know?

I guess we could see Smith, Butler, Main, Powell, Brennan or maybe even Karps if he is over his niggles.

AWent down to Subiaco v East Freo colts match. Subiaco dominated for most of the game.

Max Walters played a half only, as he fell awkwardly in the first term. Dominated in the middle of the ground, has great attack on the ball, clean hands and makes good decisions. He shares an uncanny resemblance to Hurn.

Josh Deluca had a quite game but he's all class.

Gregory Clark hasn't really improved over the last 12 months. Still can't kick.

Ben Evans who someone mentioned on here before. Is around 190cm has a seriousness leap on him and is a Fyfe like mark. Will watch with interest.

Easts had some quality that shone through in the second half.

The following page linked from the WAFL website said the game was on Friday night though.
http://www.wafootball.com.au/news/2943/2014-wafl-pre-season-games
PRE-SEASON ROUND 1
Friday 28 February
5pm – Swan Districts v Perth (Steel Blue Oval)
7pm – East Perth v West Perth (Medibank Stadium)
Saturday 1 March
2.05 East Fremantle v Subiaco (East Fremantle Oval)
BYE: Peel Thunder, South Fremantle, Claremont

Ridiculous that the results aren't even on the WAFL website.
They probably didn't want to advertise that EP only kicked 1 goal. Swans won 126 to 45, but there were very few names you'd recognise in Perth's team.
However, we should be on Clem Smith alert, he was dynamite. 1 passage of play he was 1 on 3 Swans forwards, just attacked the ball harder than anyone else and took it away from them.

EP kicked 1.39? :eek::eek::eek:

Or are you talking about two separate games here?

Sorry, 2 separate games.
Perth scored 45 points v Swans.
I am told EP, v WP kicked 1 goal, as others have heard.

Haha 1 goal 39 behinds. The coach would be in a mental institution.
I'm currently heading to that mental institution Marlin, because my U13 sold bowled 82 wides and no balls yesterday. So I know how that coach would feel. :(

Apparently, East Perth fielded a mix of reserves and colts players against an almost-full-strength West Perth side. Still. not a good result, whichever way you want to look at it. It seems no Eagles were playing.

Dylan Main played.

Final score was 6 goals to 1 so wasn't the best of games. The 8 players rotating through the EP forwardline had played a combined 1 WAFL league game. Probably no match report because the game didn't warrant any time wasted on writing a report.
