Dylan Main played.

Final score was 6 goals to 1 so wasn't the best of games. The 8 players rotating through the EP forwardline had played a combined 1 WAFL league game. Probably no match report because the game didn't warrant any time wasted on writing a report.

Thanks for the info.

Do you know how Main played?

Thanks for that info - a very low scoring affair indeed then. Really interested in Main - looks a likely type / good size with pace and carry and he has already beefed up by the looks of it. Will be good to keep an eye on his progress this season.

Claremont colts play South at Fremantle oval this Saturday. Also Claremont 16s play before that, I assume Jake Waterman will be in that. EasternHills I think I speak on behalf of us all in saying get the **** down there and write an essay on their performances.

Caught the second half of the 16's.

Jake was impressive. Shares a fair few physical attributes with his brother, pretty broad and has a fair amount of mass in his lower body for his age. Only taller and slimmer. Put on muscle since last year and should be a big lad by the time he reaches draft age.

Looks like a strong mark, partly because he was one of the tallest on the ground. But it seemed like a natural strength.

Was played on ball and given kicking out responsibilities. Fluffed the odd kick and made a couple of errors here and there but he also hit some targets under pressure and wasn't afraid to take the game on running out of the back half.

Alec and a bunch of the draft eligible players aren't lining up for the colts side. While Souths is fielding a pretty strong side.

Might be playing up in reserve or league.

Sorry this may have already been covered but what type of player is Jake? Sounds like he is KPP? What does his pace/agility appear to be like for a guy his size?

Played on ball and off the half back line. So Midfielder/ flanker.

Not AFL KPP height and probably won't end up being that tall either.

Who played from the Eagles?

Eagles players were, Brennan, Wilson, Schofield, Turnbridge, Mcginnity, Main, McGovern and Maginnes. Could of been one or two more but that is all I saw.
Schofield was a class above. Liked the looks of Maginnes, he has filled out a bit and was smooth around the stoppages. Will be a good player as will Main. First real hit out as a combined unit but it still came down to Lee, Johnson and the EP lads to get them over the line. No match winners amongst the WCE. SDFC impressed a lot. Look out for Aiden Anderson.

Good to see Tunbridge is playing - how was he?

Where did Schofield play, 2ugle, forward or back?
Good to hear Main did well too. I have high expectations of him.

TBH when we drafted Main I was perhaps a little underwhelmed (from the highlights footage/type of player perspective) but from what I have seen at training and then the size he has added already, I am becoming very hopeful. Hopefully he has a big year.

Claremont league side is in for a bad year. They got spanked in the middle, Souths just too fast.

Waterman played the first three quarters in defence. Probably helps adjust to the speed of the game. He got caught out by how fast the play moved a couple of times, but the ball was coming in fast. He was however good for the most part.

Moved into the middle in the last. Finished somewhere around 15 disposals.

Final score.
14.13.97 v 6.10.46

Jake Waterman. Height is a little misleading with him standing alone, but you get the idea.
