Are you meaning Dean Cox. By the end of his first season playing for East Perth he was playing in a Wafl grand final and playing at a decent level. Cox's problem was fitness not ability. Coen won't make it.

Perhaps Cox wasn't the best example. Coen ain't Cox, but why put a ruck on your Cat B list if they're not going to get the same opportunity to develop that a player on the main list does? Particularly when they're indigenous and we're all being told indigenous participation is in crisis?

My bad with the Cox analogy, but I think the point still stands.
