Fantastic news for all (except Brisbane) that Waite got off.

Very surprised Hille got off, though - was expecting 1 (and hoping for 2). There was no need to do what he did and he could easily have prevented the severity of the contact he made.

Excellent news about Waite & am surprised as you that Hille got off.

I was hoping he would get 2 weeks & return in Rnd 4 :D

Hi Morro how are you ................

Nice to see you on our board whereas all the other have kept away.

But not for long :D

LOL Chism ;)

Morro is OK, but it is such a shame that he supports the "Yellow & Bleaks" :o

I wander if we can convert him to follow the Baby Blues :)

We may have a shot...... tell him we have a 5yr plan or something and if that fails mention we hope to have 75k members in the next 2 yrs. :D

Sheesh you forgot the 0 (zero) debt :p

I see your friend Steph has a yellow card :D

Oops quick edit: you have one as well. What happened?

PM In coming! ;)

Yay for Waite ready and raring to go next week.
Absolute joke that Hille got off, was his arm superglued to his body and he couldn't go for the spoil?

Well according to the MRP he was making a legitimate attempt at a mark.

****in Crock that is.

I know I've only played 1 game of footy in my life but am pretty sure that attempting to mark a ball involves some kind of arms stretched out motion, not dropping your shoulder into your opponent when you realise that you're not going to be able to grab the ball.
Think the MRP need some kind of optical sponsor also

The cynical among us might perhaps suggest that the new chairman of the MRP wore his old Essendon guernsey to work today. Even James Hird was objective enough to suggest Hille was very lucky.

Looked equivalent to Troy Chaplin's charge on Daniel Rich last year.

Chaplin's contact was more late than Hille's, but Hille had more intent. You see him **** the elblow at the last moment.

Chaplin got just under 3 games for his.

Hille... not even a reprimand. Inconsistency.

LOL you never fail to make me laugh Aph, but there is no chance I can be converted to a blues supporter though, not even by you :p

Another positive was we were sitting 2nd on the ladder for 24 hours :D

Mark Fraser hmmmmmmm interesting MSR.

I agree & also think that Hille was very lucky.

Oh well at least I tried ;)

The ladder looked impressive on Thursday night with the Tigers in 2nd spot but it actually lasted less than 24 hrs :D

Mmmmm I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, Morro. I have a feeling Young Aph could be very, VERY convincing. :p

A joke that he got off for throwing a closed fist punch that connected with another players face. Whether it was intentional or not is was extremely reckless. I have seen far less aggressive/accidental incidents cop suspensions from the AFL tribunal.
Maybe all players should close their eyes and throw haymakers.:thumbsd:

Nah, as much as I would have liked Waite out of the equation, I think they got it right. Big difference between closing your eyes & swinging and being in a full headlock and trying to agro your way out of it.

Still hurting a bit are we?

Great to see the MRP threw out the Waite incident, was nothing in it.

Pity your bunch of rabble never had any backbone or fighting spirit ..they mightn't be playing for the spoon again this year ...oh wait ..yes they would ..no ammount of spirit could get that list of hacks off the bottom of the ladder .
