i thought he provided a good target up forward. stepped up and kicked a couple of goals when we needed them. dont get me wrong, he has played well down back, but f*ck i love it when he is up forward. do you guys think that if aussie can break into the side and play solidly down back waite might be able to play as a forward? i know waite wasn't as consistent up forward as he has been this season, but the delivery into the forward line was pretty poor in recent years, so im sure that would have been some sort of a factor.

I'm hoping that by next year, Jamo, Bower and Austin will all be regulars in our line up and Thornton and O'Hailpin will be more than adequate back-ups, allowing Waite to push forward or even playing on a wing. We can use him and our 1st round draft pick (I'm hoping we pick up a young key forward) alongside Fev. By then I reckon we'll have all areas covered, with high draft picks and promising young players in every area on the ground.

Not at all. He's a very capable swingman and should be played wherever there is an adequate matchup, or he can exploit the opposition. Waite forward makes us look very dangerous.

our backline is holding up well of late..love to see him be able to play up forward...definately needed up there

Love seeing this bloke play forward. An absolute champion. We have defense nearly covered without him unless the matchups require him. Waite next to fev is unbelievable
