OK, of course we were going to struggle today. This goes without saying, but I thought we could take a few positives away from the game, well cut my legs off and call me shorty!
I was surprised to see Fev on HULK for the first 5 minutes, still surprised me at the 10 minute mark...by the end of the quarter I was once again amazed at Pagans dexterity! Thornton was wonderful after 1/4 time, I was behind the goal square watching his attention to the HULK, couldn’t have asked for more.
As stupid as it sounds, it wasn’t our guys that really played that bad, it was the gulf between a confident, smothering, running, marking team against a team that felt like they were second runners .......that was the reason why we lost.
We aint goin nowhere peoples, hear the word nows!
Its not Pagan, its not Elliot, its not Kouta....it is the way it is.
We need to evolve to the next stage where the Walkers, Waites, Thortons, Normans are the stalwarts of a team comprising of new talent (the equivalent of the R'wolds, K'zkys).
I hope I live that long!
