Anyone notice that the Friday night score for the Collingwood v Bulldogs game is not only wrong....but is in fact the same score as the Round 8 Friday night clash between Hawthorn and Melbourne ?

Anyone surprised that Carlton didn't have a real flash weekend probably due to the fact that according to The Sunday Mail they played Adelaide - and then had to back up against Sydney last night...??

So many people rely on stats and facts........and it's difficult to place any confidence in an organisation that can't get something as fundamental as a footy score right.....

A little more care please...........or better still - do us all a favour and give it away........

Basic editing errors. Shows you how much they respect their readers. We really need some compeition in this town.

Sunday Mail is incompetent. Anyone else read in Peter Goers' opinion column that he thinks Neil Craig is the most boring man in football (under his "What's Hot and What's Not"). It seems that if he cant get his beloved PA in his Hot column, he will take a dig at the Crows in his not column. Wish I read his opinion after the showdown final last year. He is pis$ing me off almost as bad as rucci, and his columns are boring as batsh1t.

we have trainspotters though.

they're the sad old ladies in aqua cardies, and men in thick pullovers, and a thermos. not sure they're any less sad from whatever distance?

But then I guess, it's not like weapons of mass destruction or other meaningful foreign correspondance, better make sure the footy department is 100% so the anoraks don't get too upset. I am sure all the serious journo's are outraged.

but if it entertains you, far be it from me to stop you. just so long as it doesn't interrupt the letters to the advertising standards campaign.

and your hibrow has just illustrated my point...............easy to think there are more important things in life when you live in one of the major hubs of globalisation.....yes I would agree that footy scores are trivial. But (oohh sorry I started a sentence incorrectly)....I think in a city like Adelaide...when the toughest task for the editor each week is to format Nicole McGui...sorry Cornes's opinion piece correctly and make sure the print on the Lecornus ads don't comprimise the Goers column on the next page...it shouldnt be too tough to get the footy scores right.

but hey....snipe away.........the fact that you're there means that here isn't good enough....
