There will be a split of approximately 55 per cent reserved seats and 45 per cent walk-up seats for the Grand Final, with about 12,000 pre-purchased reserved seats set aside for Full members in a random computer ballot, which was held from August 10-17.
In addition to the pre-purchased reserved seats, there will be approximately 10,000 walk-up seats and more than 1000 standing spaces available on the usual first-in, best-dressed basis when the gates open at 8.00am (View a plan of the seating areas).

WALK-UP SEATING
After you occupy a seat on arrival on Levels 1, 2 and 3, an attendant will issue you with a reserved seat ticket for that particular seat for your retention for the day.
Attendants will start issuing individual reserved seat tickets within approximately 20 minutes of the gates opening or soon after your arrival. Once you occupy a seat, please remain there until you receive a ticket from the attendant.
Seat tickets on Level 4 will be distributed from the stairwells in each of the bays on the Level 4 concourse.
Seat saving for latecomers is not permitted and seats will only be issued when cardholders are present. Under no circumstance will tickets be issued to cardholders not in attendance.
QUEUING PROCEDURES
Full members may queue for walk-up seating at the members’ entrance at Gate 2. Apart from comfort breaks, members must remain in the queue and not leave items in their place. Chairs, bags, rugs, etc. left unattended for long periods will be removed from the queue.
One person in the queue represents one spot. That is, latecomers are not able to join friends already in the queue. MCC and security staff will be assigned to continually patrol and monitor queues. Complimentary tea and coffee points will be available for those queuing throughout the morning.
In the interest of safety for all, members are asked to enter the Reserve in a safe, responsible and orderly manner. Running to the seating areas once inside the gates is not permitted.
Members must be dressed in accordance with the dress standards required to enter the Reserve, even when queuing.
RETURNING BALLOT SEATS
Those Full members successful in the Grand Final ballot and unable to use their reserved seat(s) are encouraged to forward them back to the club. If the tickets are re-sold, the initial seatholder will receive a refund of $25 per seat.
Full members who were unsuccessful in the ballot have been placed on a waiting list and will be offered returned tickets at the same price.
Those members who have a reserved seat and do not attend the Grand Final will not be eligible to enter the ballot for reserved seats at next year’s Grand Final.
