By his absense...

forgive the typos I am in Bruges on a strange keyboard.

We could well be 2 and 1 if he had of been managed better; He provides us zith determination, great defensive pressure, best engine and legs in the team - not saying definite - however his loss is clearly evident -

Get well soon walker - we dont simply miss your amazubg footy prowess out there - but need it.

Watching Judd and Walker together will be ab amazing thing to behold....

While that's all well and good HBF, would you really condone risking him? Given his history, and the fact that (according to most) he is very important to our structure, risking him may be a potential downfall. You never know what could happen if he's not 100% and is played too early, could ruin his career, if he has that much potential, and is so important to our team, let him have the time he needs off, let him just get himself 100%, so when he does play, the risk of injury isn't as high as it would be if he returns early.

Question to you all.........how do you guys seriously come to the conclusion that his not being available has cost you wins?

What is this based on? Has he not played on the previous 11 straight losses prior to his absense?

I aint trying to rag on you.....I guess I am just trying to understand how you guys keep coming up with these simplified reasons for losing

walker was going to blosum this year, all the signs were there.

he would add some considerable run out of our backline and also accountability.

It is amazing the difference one person makes to a team, and it may not be he's performance ultimately on the field.

In walkers absense we have had to play scotland, houlihan and russel in his spot in attempt to fix the whole. This has led to them having very bellow par performanaces to the start of this year as they are being played out of position.

Scotland was our highest possesion winner last year and houlihan should be used on the forward line.

Walker would also take the a out the running small forward that they have, which has killed us so far this season.. Milne, nathan brown and mark mcveigh.

He is not the ultimate reason why we are 0-3 but having a player of his class availiable would make some kind of difference.

But these guys have been playing on the half back line the past couple of years also.

I cant accept this "he's ready to blossum" line......it is an assumption based on hope as much as anything else.

Would you be a better team with Walker? Yeah, a bit....but he aint the difference between winning and losing IMO

walker was injured for a lot of last year also, and then the second half of the year played with a really bad shoulder.

he would add the extra run out of our backline which we really are lacking this year.

I know its more hope than anything else that he was going to blossum. But it was the belief of many carlton posters that he was going to do so this year.

At the end of the day it is a real shame that a guy with his talent is missing out, and because of our lack of depth atm, we can ill afford to have this tallent out.

I agree - hasn't shown enough to make the assertion that his inclusion would've won us a single game more.

Unfortunately our problems are deeper than one player - especially Walker!
