Walker shoulder injury! :(

Why not take your own advice and read the 2nd last line of EBIAC's post - directly answers the question raised by MM3.

Now, what I'd like to know is where the hell EBIAC at 15/16 pulled that from?
Haha, it's 15 until September chappy.

I follow footy pretty closely, since i've been real die hard about the game, i've just picked up these things along the way:thumbsu:.

on channel 7 news tonight they stated that he had his scans this morning (as we all know) & also stated that if he requires surgery on that shoulder again, he will not play until the second half of the season :( (they also showed him walking into the place where he had his scans done......

I really hope this is not the case for Texs' & Carltons sake anyway......

He could have even have a shoulder fracture too... but at this moment whatever it is... I'm punting 4-8 weeks out.
You might well be right, as he did receive the injury after a 'fall on out stretched hand', or if you will, FOOSH, as well as injuring his shoulder recently.

Why in god's name are people bagging EBIAC's post?

I thought it was very informative and answered a few questions. Not only that, but he also directly answered the question posed. Onya EBIAC. :thumbsu:

You're 15 mate?!
I figured most people knew by now:). Yeah, I am, thank god, other wise if I posted as often as I do at the age of 30 then there could be a few people shaking their heads:D.

Cheers for the compliment:thumbsu:.

I love EBIAC's input into these forums.....
I also know that he is a young fella & I feel he is very knowledgeable with what goes on within the game & Carlton
Love ya input EBIAC....... keep up the great work.....
especially if you get down to training again during the school hol's ..... training reports are fantastic :thumbsu::thumbsu:

I always figured you as a 20ish kind of poster. ;)

It's funny though... a few years back some people thought I was in my 30s.

Thanks for the info EBIAC, I too am in the 15 year old category and hope that my occasional posts don't promote the teenage idiot stereotype (which sadly, is mostly true)!

I've been down that road:).

What is this, an EddieB compliment thread now? We're meant to be caring about Mr. Walker here!:p

Although, thanks to Thrawn, mushda, blues4flag, jj and TB69:D.

It's doubtful Walker will be at training on monday, right? I may have to venture down and hear what I can hear, see what I can see.

Ahh, that's a bugger, thanks for that:thumbsu:.

I think there might be one or 2 prolific posters >30!:p

I thought about letting you waste a few by coming down for nothing :p
Oh wow, eeexcellent:rolleyes:.

Personally,, I don't think Andrews injury will be as serious as it could be. He walked off of the field pretty easily yesterday, wasn't gripping at his shoulder or anything. Then again, it may be that my hopes are getting the best of me, let's just pray that his season isn't cut by a dramatic amount of time.

Fair enough, just didn't come off as sarcasm

Anywho, back to his injury, I also saw him leave the ground at QTR time yesterday, and he didn't look to be in a whole lot of discomfort
See, i'm not just going mad:p.
Lighten up Buddy
I can't stay mad at a Blue supporter:).

This is seriously depressing news. Walker appears to be completely dedicated to his footy
- passionately obsessed -
and this kind of thing would just bust his chops.
Worse, it looks to be a long term reoccurring problem.

I hope the kid bounces back - but this is going to set him back another year if true......garbage luck.

If it is mismanagement then questions need to be asked.

I'd just like to take this chance to make a plea to anyone associated with the Carlton coaching staff. Please, even if Walker is up to scratch, don't play him first week back! We did it this time, let's learn from our mistakes.

Fool us once...
