Will he be back this week?

God i love football at the moment :D

well apparently ratts said he would be right for the match against the bombers, so i'd expect so... but i wouldnt be surprised if we see him return the following week against the tiges, just to make 100% sure of it, we know how bringin him back that little bit early can hurt...

i know i love it too atm... cant get enough...
when i saw them show the ladder after the game with carlton no.8 i screamed my f____ lungs out, it was wicked..

I wouldnt be surprised or disappointed if AW was given a week in the Ants to ease his way back into things and gain some match fitness

I'd expect him to. Hard for anyone to step right back into AFL footy after 4 months out of the game (although, against the Bombers...)

I think everyone lost their voices after today's game - 2 fariytale weeks in a row - this is football heaven....now for the Dons!!! :)

I think if he needs it, play him in the ants for a week or two. Can't aggrovate his injuries again - he needs a solid preseaon cause he'll go nuts next year.

delicious....

Well Bannister should be ready too along with Walker.

Could be some unlucky players to get axed this week.

From what I saw at training on Friday Walker is much closer than Bannister. All Banno did was handball drills in the rehab group while Walker participated in the full training session and looked as though he is very close to full strength.

oooooohhhhyeah :D
I think the opposition clubs/supporters have forgotten about this guy. He is an absolute GUN and I cannot wait to see him back

I always used to think that the way 1AW plays looks similar to a judd... he has some real pace and can do damage, especially now when the team has developed and become more of a cohesive unit, a lot more so since he last lined up in the 22...

I think his inclusion will spark us and give us extra run going into the arse end of the season... with walks, banno, houla, bower (depending on injury severity), and haddles all looking to return in the second half of the year... i really think that we'll hav enough to run the year out, and give the 8 a crack..

it'll just be great to have walks out there again, he's so damn good!

ps. i think its funny how the perception of walker's value to our team has been exaggerated/increased while he's been out with injury while houlihan's has significantly dropped... i personally think they're both in our best 22.

We are looking exceedingly well placed to run out this season - great observations - if we run home strongly and end up more than "just" inside the eight we will be looking very fit for the - dare I say it SEPTEm......

Ratts has coached well.

I got a phone call after the game yesterday from a mate who was over in melbourne from perth. he said he spoke to andy walker at training on wednesday and he said he was two weeks away so it is more than likely the richmond game he will return for.

Question is who do you drop?

Look at it this way, he wouldn't get much attention and would probably be allowed too much space by Essesndon, if he comes in for hampson and plays on a half forward flank I wont be too dissapointed.

Depends on his fitness but I can't wait to see him in that side now we are good... Getting exciting.
