I could give approximately 700,000 reasons why Daniel will not retire.
One thing interesting, I notice Wells' contract value keeps increasing...

If some had gone to preseason training and praccy games you would notice wells is the best kick still on the list

No suprise the positive influence has improved our disposal and our vision

We all agree its disappointing but if he gets it right (best form) and gets continuity
He's the cherry on the sundae

Been overweight from the moment he got to the club. Whether that's him not putting in or the simple fact that he's not young anymore. He was a bigger fk up that Chris Mayne was (who is actually looking quite good at the moment).

Yeah you can prattle on forever about Well's class and skill, buy if he doesn't actually play, it all amounts to nothing.

Then again did anyone predict the broken foot that has put him out for the season.

BIGNEDKELLY this one's for you :)

Great to see the lad's using the trap/deadlift bar instead of conventional deadlifts, 90% of the benefit 10% of the risk.

What depth do you reckon Trav Varcoe is getting on his squats there?

Injury List
Find out how Collingwood's injury list is progressing ahead of Saturday's match against Fremantle from General Manager of Football Geoff Walsh.

Tyson Goldsack (knee / back) – available
"Pleasingly, Goldy, after that setback with his back is up for selection in the VFL this week. He’s made a remarkable recovery from that ACL. The disc problem that he’s had for a couple of weeks delayed his comeback, but the good news is he’ll play in the VFL this week."

Flynn Appleby (hamstring) – available
"Flynn has been on the sidelines for five or six weeks but he’s had a couple of weeks of really strong training sessions and he’ll be declared fit to play in the VFL this coming Saturday."

Jeremy Howe (corkie) – 1 week
"Jeremy Howe is recovering really well (after) the complication with the corky and the bleed. Having a game that is interstate and requires a flight, it’s more than likely that we won’t put Jeremy through that on the off chance that the flight causes the leg to blow up. While we’re really confident that he’s getting a good result out of this, we won’t declare him fit for this week’s game."

Darcy Moore (hamstring) / Ben Reid (calf) - TBC
"While they’re both progressing well, they’re not nearly as advanced as the guys we’ve just covered. We’ll have more to add on their progress in the next seven to 10 days. Suffice to say, both boys haven’t pulled up stumps for the season and are both progressing in their rehab in the endeavours of trying to get back at some stage during the finals.

Adam Treloar (hamstrings) – 2-3 weeks
Adam Treloar saw his surgeon yesterday and got a really good report, which will allow us to up the ante in terms of his training load. He’s progressing and coping with the load really well at the moment. The surgeon is happy for us to push forward. In layman’s terms, we’re going to have a real crack at getting Adam up in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully at the start of our finals campaign, or thereabouts, we’ll see Adam pushing really strongly for selection.

Jamie Elliott (knee) – season
Kayle Kirby (medical condition) - season
Matthew Scharenberg (knee) - season
Tim Broomhead (broken leg) – season

Lynden Dunn (knee) – season
Daniel Wells (foot) – season

Did he play or not? If it hadn't been a foot, it most likely would have been something else. Is he going to be better equipped to avoid injury next year at 34? I think not.
