Hodge is the in form batsman outside the Test team. Someone has to replace S Waugh.
On the second XI, Trevor Hohns was on the radio here in Adelaide saying that Blocker Wilson is only out of the side because he is unavailable. Within 20 minutes we've got Greg Chappell on the radio saying he was always available and is fit and ready to play. The anti SA conspiracy is alive and well.
