When daylight-savings kicked in a week ago here in Tassie, I still spent HALF the f*cking day being an hour behind. I was lucking I wasn't doing anything that day!!

Even worse, here in the states they had it listed as 11 pm (because of the change it started at 10 pm) and they never bothered to correct it until it actually came on. Fortunately it did come on at 10 and I was waiting for it.

Worse yet, the US network feed (which was about a five second delay) didn't know when channel 7 were coming in and out of ads and ended up taking full (three minute) ad breaks when 7 did the short ones. I missed four of the first six goals because of this.

Wow thats bizarre. I was going to make a post to warn the WA footy followers to turn on their TV at 10:30am (for pre match hoo-haa) and 11:00am for the bouncedown due to daylight saving. The Footy on Saturday normally starts at Midday over here (2pm for Eastern States) but I'm sure many folks would of switched on to be midway through the 1st or 2nd quarter (by which the game was almost over)

Don't worry Bluey, I did something pretty similar, except I did get to see all of it at a pub. I actually taped it on our VCR with a timer, but the freakin clock hadn't been changed for freakin daylight savings. Stupid Olympics! Now, I guess i'll have to buy the freakin official video just so I can see the first half. Does anyone know if the pre-match time wasting is on the official video?
