Oh Yes and Andrew Ireland has requested that the start time of the game be moved to 7:30pm. Since the Ansett Cup we have played in Perth, Canberra,Melbourne, Adelaide, Melbourne, and now we will play in Brisbane, Sydney, Geelong, Adelaide. When does the expiry date run out on all the excuses Brisbane ?
And they were also whinging that there game was not being televised on Sunday, but it is (not on the board but on the radio. Seems also that they didnt like the little scuffle we had in here a few weeks back, they want revenge for that as well. I note on the tally board that they really wasted a lot of time as we didnt take long to absolutely bury them on that one. Sorry Shinners.
The Briswhiners get sadder by the moment. No matter how much they win by, in the end, it's a very hollow revenge for '96 and '99. It also begs the question, if winning a home and away match is revenge for those preliminary final losses, how many chances do they want? We played them once last year and beat them....they had their chance for revenge and they fluffed it.
Their revenge has come in the form of #17. They must be laughing pretty hard right now.
This weekend, why not pretend to be a Brisbane fan? Just buy a slab of VB, pour it all over yourself and you'll be bitter all over without having the hassle of taking out a Lions membership
