Western Reds name and history should be the basis for a new franchise so, for example, we can then say that the Geyers played for the same team/club that will get the 18th licence. West Coast Pirates is a pathetic name.

Putting a team in wa over anywhere else will do massive wonders for the league. A new time zone and the demand for league here shows it's strong. Can easily.fufill a market here given that the population of Perth is up by 50% compared to the 1990s. Massive expat population here and state of origin always sells out here. .

I know even as a wce supporter I'd become a member to a wa NRL team.
