I am and so are you and in my case I'm not wrong.
Little men like putin suffer from small man sydrome and feel inferior because they are short and putin is a perfect example, and his illegall invasion of Ukraine is all about his ego.
We can agree to disagree, I know you won’t be swayed toward any other pov.

You do not know better than leaders of major European states, the flight paths of drones has been published. It was the Russians, end of story.

Also there is no need for Putin to act like a modern day Hitler and regularly launch mass attacks on Ukraine. Ukraine is never going to be a puppet Russian state again, the sooner Putin realises this the better or someone in Russia kills him off if he doesn't.

I'm not sure if you realise but posting embarrassing Russian conspiracy theories (you were guilty of this on MH17 too) just ain't a good look.

Quoting pundits is ridiculous.

Why would you not accept the word of Tusk for example?

The literal flight paths of Russian attack drones has been released.

This is MH17 all over again where you accepted every ridiculous Russian conspiracy theory / denial at face value instead of the overwhelming evidence proving Russia was responsible for that atrocity.

I think Russia and the general world are expecting a weak response from NATO. I would like to see NATO boots in Ukraine even if limited to support roles in the immediate term.

NATO guys dying won’t deescalate the conflict. I think Europe needs its own guys in its own countries too, this war has backfired massively and the stuff you predicted to happen to Russia has actually happened to us 😔

"Police investigators in Russia’s Kaliningrad region on Monday discovered the decapitated body of the CEO of a local fertilizer company.

The chief executive, Alexei Sinitsyn, is believed to have died by suicide, according to a law enforcement source cited by the Vedomosti business newspaper."

Decapitation, yes obvious suicide.
He’s thorough, I’ll grant him that

46 UN member states signed a statement on Russia's involvement in drones entering Polish airspace on the night of September 9-10.

The document states that Russia violated Polish airspace 19 times, thereby "contributing to the escalation of the conflict."

In response, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that the Russian Armed Forces struck military-industrial targets on Ukrainian territory on the night of September 10, but no targets in Poland were planned. He emphasized that Russia is not involved in the incident, but the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation are ready for a "professional dialogue" with Warsaw.

Earlier, it was reported that Poland appealed to its allies to strengthen its air defense after Russian drones invaded Polish airspace.

Note that 46 sounds like a big number, but the number of member states in the UN is closer to nearly 200. I went looking to see if Australia signed on, and we did.

JOINT PRESS STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF ALBANIA, ANDORRA, AUSTRALIA, AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, BULGARIA, CANADA, CROATIA, CYPRUS, CZECHIA, DENMARK, ESTONIA, FINLAND, FRANCE, GEORGIA, GERMANY, GREECE, HUNGARY, ICELAND, IRELAND, ITALY, JAPAN, THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA, LATVIA, LIECHTENSTEIN, LITHUANIA, LUXEMBOURG, MALTA, MOLDOVA, MONACO, NORWAY, THE NETHERLANDS, NEW ZEALAND, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, SAN MARINO, SLOVAKIA, SLOVENIA, SPAIN, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND, UKRAINE, THE UNITED KINGDOM, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE DELEGATION OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

New York, September 12, 2025

I would like to read out a statement on behalf of the governments of Albania, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, The Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, The United Kingdom, The United States of America, the delegation of the European Union and my government, Poland.

We are here to express our grave concern and draw the attention of the international community to yet another flagrant violation of the international law and the Charter of the United Nations committed by the Russian Federation.

Russian Federation, while attacking the territory of Ukraine on the night of September 9, conducted nineteen incursions of drone-type objects into Polish airspace. The drones which posed a real threat to the civilian population, the infrastructure, and aviation safety, were pre-emptively neutralized. For the first time since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion against Ukraine in 2022, Poland’s territorial integrity – and, simultaneously, NATO and EU airspace – was violated on such an unprecedented and massive scale. This outrageous incident was preceded by various Russian violations of regional airspaces in the past.

Therefore, Poland, for the first time in its history, has decided to request the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, acting in the spirit of preventive diplomacy. The meeting was requested because Russia’s reckless actions represent not only a breach of international law but also a destabilizing escalation that brings the entire region closer to conflict than at any time in recent years. Such a provocation is profoundly disrespectful toward the collective and tireless efforts of the international community to bring an end to the war and to restore peace and stability in accordance with international law. We thank the Republic of Korea, presiding over the Council, for convening the meeting.

We take this opportunity to reiterate our call on the Russian Federation to cease, without delay, its war of aggression against Ukraine, to desist from further provocations, and to abide by the obligations enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.

Escalation cannot and will not pave the way to peace. Only adherence to the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful settlement of disputes can create the conditions for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, in Europe and beyond.

A drone enters Romanian airspace.

"The Romanian authorities have announced a threat to the population near the border with Ukraine due to the presumed entry of a Russian drone from the Odessa region into the country's airspace.

Earlier, F-16 fighters of the Polish Air Force and Eurofighter Typhoon of the German Air Force were scrambled towards the Polish-Ukrainian border due to the activity of Russian UAVs."

""This is an obvious escalation of the war by Russia." Romania scrambled fighters due to a presumably Russian drone intrusion

To respond to the threat, the Romanians launched two F-16 fighters into the sky. It is claimed that an unknown drone penetrated about 10 kilometers into Romanian territory and remained in NATO airspace for about 50 minutes.

"Russian military clearly understand where their drones are headed, how long they can stay in the air. The routes are always calculated. This cannot be a coincidence, a mistake, or the initiative of some lower-level commanders. This is an obvious escalation of the war by Russia, and this is exactly how they operate. First small steps, and eventually big losses," wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky."

Poles hear air raid sirens

"Air raid threat declared in Poland and siren activated

"Exercise extreme caution. Follow the instructions of the services. Expect further messages," residents of the Lublin Voivodeship are being alerted.

Presumably, the cause was Russian drones."

Major attack on oil refinery in Ufa
"Drone attack on oil refinery in Ufa cut off technical water supply

This was reported by the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov.

“Both downed drones fell on the territory of the enterprise. In the first case, a small fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished. In the second case, the technical water supply was cut off. There will be no reduction in production volume, no production stoppages. The plant will continue to operate normally,” he said.

According to sources from several Ukrainian media outlets in the Main Intelligence Directorate, after the kamikaze drones struck the Novo-Ufimsky oil refinery, powerful explosions occurred on the premises and a large-scale fire started. Preliminary data indicates that the explosions caused significant damage, particularly to the vacuum distillation column of the primary oil processing unit."

Kaliningrad Military Exercises

Zapad (Belarus/Russia military exercises) include deployment of Iskander systems in Kaliningrad enclave, near to Polish border.

"As part of the 'Zapad-2025' drills, Russia has deployed Iskander missile launchers in the Kaliningrad region near the Polish border. 'Show of force' against NATO.' "

Putin would be pleased with the response from NATO. Lots of words, a few troops moved to the border, but no real consequences. Not even a straight forward 'We'll shoot down any drone/missile within 50kms of our borders, as we can't risk them coming across'. No mention of shooting down planes, boots on the ground etc. required. Just a clear red line instead of the usual wishy-washiness. Do that, stare down the 'EuROpE iS rISkINg NuCleAR WaR!' from drunk ex-Presidents and Russian TV and start enforcing it.

Then once the chicken littles see the sky hasn't fallen in, push it to 60km, then 70km etc. Use Russia's own 'salami-slicing' tactics against them. Putin handed Europe a chance to show they don't need to hide behind Washington's skirts and that they are capable of stopping Russia and they flubbed it. Not at all surprised, but still disappointed.

Just some geolocation, to show how St Petersburg is slowly becoming surrounded by a ring of fire. Ust-Luga port of course has been in the news a few times over the last few years. Primorsk was struck recently, including reports of damage to 2 shadow fleet tankers. And now Kirishi oil plant has been struck as well. What is it with Leningrad and getting surrounded?

Before you ask, the yellow markers are places aussie rules had been played in St Petersburg in the past. Old data that still appears on my Google Maps from footy history research back then.

Numerous incidents on the rail network in the RF.

Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate and Special Operations Forces attacked key railway lines in the Russian Federation, — "RBC-Ukraine"

According to a source from the publication, Ukrainian intelligence and Special Operations Forces are behind the explosions that occurred on September 13 and 14 on the railway in the Oryol and Leningrad regions.

"These railway branches are critically important logistical links in supplying the occupying forces in the Kharkiv and Sumy directions. As a result of the destruction of railway infrastructure in these areas, the Russians will experience significant complications in logistics, which in turn will substantially affect their ability to carry out active operations against the Ukrainian Defense Forces," emphasized the interlocutor at the Main Intelligence Directorate.

The governor of the Oryol region, Andrey Klychkov, reported on September 13 that explosive devices were found during an inspection of the railway tracks on the Maloarkhangelsk — Glazunovka section. During the detonation of one of the bombs, two Russian National Guard officers were killed, another was seriously injured and later died in hospital. By the morning of September 14, 17 passenger trains were delayed due to the incident.

Meanwhile, the governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that on the night of September 14 in the Luzhsky district, on the Strogonovo — Mshinskaya section, a diesel locomotive derailed, to which 15 empty tank cars were attached (the Ukrainian side claims the tank cars contained fuel). There were no casualties. The investigation is considering the possibility of sabotage. In another district of the Leningrad region, a single diesel locomotive also derailed — the driver died in this incident.

The Ukrainians apparently listed a game on Steam called "Bridge Hunter". I'll have to look this up when i get home!

🔥The Russians are screaming that we made a computer game where you have to destroy the Crimean Bridge

This is about Bridge Hunter - a game in early access on Steam where players control Ukrainian Armed Forces drones to destroy the Crimean Bridge. The game allows the use of various weapons, including artillery, a satellite laser, and even a nuclear weapon, as well as sea drones and underwater attacks.

The developers promised to donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the sales revenue.

Another news item from Voice of Crimea:

Occupiers are searching for the Ukrainian language on the phones of Sevastopol schoolchildren

In Sevastopol school No. 37, Russian military are checking the personal phones of children and teachers, paying special attention to the presence of the Ukrainian keyboard layout, reports "Crimean Mavkas"

If Ukrainian language is found on the phone, it becomes a reason for additional checks, summons "for a talk," and pressure.

Changing the language on the phone is easy, but erasing hatred for the occupiers is never.
