I'm hoping like hell that these war crime stories are staged in order to paint Russia in a worse light because this is not good for my mental health.. crazy that stuff like this is still being reported in 2022. Seems like we'll never learn and stuff like this will still happen in 3022.
Some pretty horrific evidence of war crimes by retreating Russian troops north of Kyiv.
Civilians murdered with their hands tied behind their backs.
WARNING - Graphic footage:
I won’t post direct images in the thread but do a Twitter search for “Russian war crimes” or “Bucha” (the town where it happened) to see more graphic evidence
Yeah, that man , lack of awareness incredible but probably not uncommon, sadly.Yeah I agree with this. Clearly the guy is referring to the Russian people as an entity of its own, and not each individually with a check mark beside every one of them. But it does certainly remind me of the guy (that you also saw) saying how he didn't vote the last time Putin was up for election!
It best we know how bad it is, so we under no illusions what they capable of.I'm hoping like hell that these war crime stories are staged in order to paint Russia in a worse light because this is not good for my mental health.. crazy that stuff like this is still being reported in 2022. You're predicting the future( maybe).
Putin and his generals have complete confidence in the plan.
Don't let Putin lovers see this. They'll claim those are crisis actors.
Too late:
What makes them Putin lovers here? They're being skeptical and so they should. Don't take things at face value from either side.
We haven't really seen their ability to advance yet tho.It does seem Ukraine has the upper hand.
Unless Russia massively increases its personnel deployment they will get their asses handed to them.
The main thing from the new briefing of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:
The Russian Armed Forces destroyed large fuel storage facilities in Konstantinovka, Slavuta and Ternopil with high-precision air-launched missiles;
The RF Armed Forces, with a strike on a military airfield in the Kiev region, removed the Center for Warning and Control of Aviation and Air Defense of the Ukrainian Air Force from the building;
As a result of the strike of the Russian Armed Forces on the Balovnoye airfield near Nikolaev, the destruction of an aircraft parking lot and a fuel storage facility;
Since the beginning of the special operation, the RF Armed Forces have destroyed 386 UAVs and 1,918 tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Russian air defense systems shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the coast;
During the day, operational-tactical and army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit 42 military facilities of Ukraine;
The troops of the DPR are fighting for the capture of the settlements of Novobakhmutovka and Troitskoye.
Double edged, this could actually increase Russian soldiers motivation. Would need to really target military bases or military supplyUkraine need to start sending missiles back over the border.
Russia can barely fight a one front war don’t think other countries need to necessarily be fearful (on confiscation of sovereign wealth)Couple of different concepts covered here …
(1) Private wealth. The oligarchs are private people with personal wealth (obviously through their business interests). They’re private individuals and not sure that there’s any mechanism to take extra-judicial confiscation of property. If they’ve broken the laws of the country that has confiscated their superyacht, then there would be recourse to repossess it. But otherwise? No.
(2) Sovereign wealth. (Eg: Central bank assets held by, or recognised by other countries) Would have thought playing around with that stuff would need a bit of care to avoid it leading to a declaration of war. The only country at war with Russia at the moment is Ukraine. Probably not a good idea to escalate that.
That map covers almost all of the worlds technology and high end manufacturing, to speak nothing of finance and markets.This is an interesting map and goes to show that countries imposing sanctions against Russia for their invasion of Ukraine are a relatively small % of the world's nations.
Goes to show that our reliance on western media can give a skewed perspective of international sentiment on global matters.

The map is wrong as all EU countries have imposed sanctions on Russia.This is an interesting map and goes to show that countries imposing sanctions against Russia for their invasion of Ukraine are a relatively small % of the world's nations.
It really tells us a lot about how the world really works. Putin sends in an invasion force of poor young men to destroy, rape and pillage a country. Murders thousands and worse.meh. Its currently an invading piece of shit. So I would have no problem ******* over their government and the apparatus of their government which includes their uber rich. Anyone of net worth > $1 billion USD pre war is fair game. Class warfare writ large baby!

I bet Russia would try to spin the likes of Rwanda, Yemen, South Sudan, Bolivia, Laos, Bangladesh not imposing sanctions as a "win".
The reality is 95% of the countries that Russia relies on for technology & industry are imposing sanctions against them.
Take a look at flightradar over Russia. Normally the second busiest airspace in the world. Now minimal flights and very few asia-europe overflights.
I invite you to find a country not in yellow that can support their aviation industry which has resorted to putin stealing aircraft owned by lessors to be stripped for parts to keep some aircraft flying.
Think of how embarrassing it is that a government is officially organising the theft of aircraft owned by companies mostly based in Ireland.
