Are they GW models or 3rd party heads on Gw models?
3rd party heads and torsos with Mechanicus arms and weapons. The kit is called Les Grognards from Wargames Atlantic. I also have all these to paint up plus Creed doubling as Napoleon

Nice i like it, respect anyone who has the patience to paint an ig army
It fits with the very flamboyantly dressed theme of Napoleons army quite well and as as bonus they even look like the old flintlocks

Hey 9th edition coming out soon.
All the stuff I'm seeing looks as though they are cleaning up the rules massively, even offering an army builder app with UP TO DATE rules and points*
* For a massive fee I'm sure. Said if you buy a codex ($60) you get it included.... $60 for rules that will be changed within a year, I don't think so

My guess is editions you'll have to pay for but at least points/faq/errata changes will be included.

Glad I stumbled across this thread. Getting back into the hobby after 15 years away, collecting primaris purely because I thought the indomitus models looked amazing. I hope my painting has improved since my teenage years.

Its an interesting time to come back with Covid around and being pretty disruptive to the new edition. Hopefully you'll see some painting improvement, theres a tonne of resources out there!!

The 9th is just tightening up some of the stuff they brought in with 8th.

Just marines in general are ridiculous, they already had a crazy win rate wait until they are the only ones with a codex buffed weapons and buffed troops. Basically if you don't play marines it's not worth playing 9th until your codex comes out.
Who ever decided it was a good idea to buff units this much but not do an index like they did with 8th is a moron.

Model wise, GW have glorious models, but they come with a ridiculous $$$$ with it.
I'm only a GW fan boi from my youth. Otherwise I don't strongly recommend it
