Mcgill has been bowling very well. It could be a time to replace warne. I think McGill can handle the job from now on and Australia doesn't need Warne to save them from dark situations anymore like they used to with our bowling depth.
Any thoughts?

Warney is an out and out Champion. Best bowler I have seen in my time. Best bowler my old man has seen in his lifetime and he is 80.

He is not as good as he once was and probably never will be. He is still better than MacGill.

MacGill would walk into any other Test team in the world and be one of the first picked. He has about 70 wickets in 15 Tests which is better than almost all bowlers who have ever played the game, especially spinners.

MacGill should now stay in the side until Warne can prove he has recovered well enough to do as good a job as MacGill. If they are as good as each other then Warne should get the nod for his on field leadership and experience.

I think however that the time is near when we will see Warne hang up his spikes and MacGill will take over in his own right.

Warney is the master, but he must prove himself before he is selected again. McGill has finally gotten another opportunity and his record says he is good enough. It will be interesting to see how he does on the Australian wickets that are currently being prepared for our fast bowlers, unlike Warne who had wickets tailor made for his talents.

It is healthy to have competition for places within the team.

I'm a Victorian and a saints fan so you won't get an objective opinion from me on this one.

Im going to bring this topic back up!

Now we now that MacGill is a bad sport as well hey?

Warney for the boxing day test match!

Last news I heard was that Warne is aiming to play in the Shield match against WA and then see how things go from there.

Enough of Warne and McGill - how good was Funky Millers bowling in the Adelaide test!?¿?!

I'd rather have MacGill at the crease to hit the winning runs than Warne. He has history on his side.
