Warner & Finch surely going down as one of Australia's finest odi opening pairs (alongside Gilchrist/M.Waugh & Gilchrist/Hayden).

Both now got 18 & 16 odi tons respectively and must be closing in on Ponting and Gilchrist as Australia's finest odi bats.

Both Warner and Finch make an odi ton once in every 7 games which is right up there.

They have paired up at 2015 and 2019 world cups, can they both make it to the 2023 World Cup ?

Age is against them, however if they maintain their form, then why not.

Got any stats in their average opening partnership versus other AUS and international pairings? Presumably given the modern game their combined strike rate exceeds their historical peers.

Bairstow and Roy

Warner the Allan Border medallist?

Okaaay.....

yeah...thought the same thing as wtf?

smith, cummins, and labuschagne all had a good year too.

i guess when you go through all the games a little closer it makes sense as warner dominated both white ball formats and the aussie test summer.

it just doesn't make sense when he didn't perform in the iconic ashes series and missed part of the year with suspension.
