News Warnock has Shoulder Surgery (Again).

Meanwhile, Carlton ruckman Robbie Warnock has again entered hospital, this time for minor shoulder surgery after being hurt in the VFL finals.
Warnock had shoulder surgery while at Fremantle and did not play a senior game for the Blues in his first season this year because of two foot stress fractures. Carlton was adamant yesterday Warnock's latest setback would not adversely affect his return to pre-season training in November.

I suppose we should get rid of Fev......has had groin op last pre-season, finger surgery the last few pre-seasons and just had a shoulder done........sounds like he is about ready to fall apart.....what a hack.

Waite seems to injure a knee ligament every couple of years........maybe we should move him on to. Judd had shoulder surgery again and Gibbs and Murph have dodgy thumbs......Jammo has bung shoulders and a dodgy groin..........

A little disappointing, however, good news that it's only minor surgery. I suppose until he fills out that rather large frame, injuries are going to be an issue for Warnock.

I am sure they have assessed things after a couple of games and just want him 100% ready for pre-season.
Same as Fev getting his shoulder done this week - the time for procedures is now so get the over and done with regardless of being major or minor

Being mid September, it shouldn't be a problem. There is plenty of time for him to be ready for pre-season.

yeah ruckman tend to take longer to develop . i just hope he gets over these injuries that seem to hamper him for along time now and gives something back to the club. maybe he will be a star oneday who knows. its just frustrating to have hopes on a recruit with wraps to only watch him on the sidelines injured. its actually frustrating

Its just that if you are going to post something controversial (such as bagging a Carlton player on a Carlton board... and who is in most peoples eyes vital to our structure going forward) then you should be prepared to back it up with a reasoned and logical argument.

You wouldn't get flamed anywhere near half as much.

Also might help if you posted something actually positive about the team every once in a while, and changed your signature line so that you weren't constantly bagging a Club great every time you post.

Your current technique doesn't seem to be working very well.

He played and dominated Ottens who a week later was playing well at senior level.......that's what happened, and had one of Kreuzer or Hampson gone down he would have come in.

Nothing to really worry about IMO.

A lot of players have surgery at this time of year, and if it helps to hopefully have him rockin' and rollin' for next year for us, then sweet.

yeh players usually have surgery at the end of the year because they have been playing all year , and need a cleanup.

Some of the drama queens around here really do astonish. The big fella's probably going to have his first full pre-season in years, tear it up next year and leave a few red faces in his wake around these parts.

He must have copped a knock last week playing for the ants... the Carlton doctors would have been assessing him all week and would make an informed judgement after all that.

At the end of the day, it is a minor op to clear out some junk in his shoulder and he should be sorted for the pre-season.

Geez I am really looking forward to seeing Robbie ripping it up in the AFL next year.
