SEABY = SHIT and no upside

Seaby = 2nd worst haircut in AFL
we've got a top 20 ruckman waiting in the wings to take over in Hampson
Okay, this is where we are at:
Kreuzer - probably 2 years away from assuming our number one ruck spot, unless he turns himself into a permanent forward in the meantime.
Hampson - two years away from a possible number one ruck spot, maybe 3. We contracted him for 3 years in case he wants to go home to the Gold Coast in 2.
Cloke - not tall enough to be a tap ruckman and that is what our midfield needs.
Jacobs - looks gone if we grab another ruckman.
Available ruckmen:
Warnock - has the height, should be a decent tap ruckman but it is all a guess. His stats playing as a number one ruckman are pretty average. We need someone to fill the breach for 2 years, plain and simple, so that our midfield do not get carved up by lack of supply and get two years older without success. If Warnock can not become a top 8 ruckman over the offseason, why are we getting him, when Kreuzer and Hampson can take just as long to get to the same point or better?
Seaby: Seaby's stats are far better when Cox is not playing. He is more ready to compete now than Warnock is. Warnock may be a star ruckman, but so will Kreuzer. We will sacrifice 2009 with Warnock and will be putting faith in 2010.
White: Too short, can't compete as a tap ruckman and supply the midfield.
There is a thread on the main board highlighting this. Is Seaby an Ackland? I don't know, how tall is he and how many hitouts does he get? He can also play forward when Kreuzer has a spell on the ball.

Seaby would be good support for Acland I reckon.

Carlton can do with another AA player and superstar like Riewoldt. From what i read, Warnock is too much of a cry baby.
