Surely Tom MacNamara's safe?! We can't get rid of him, can we?!If we lose Newton too we're stuffed!!
I agree & I think he could see there was no future for him at the Dees, so I have no issues with him going. Its fair enough he has asked for a trade.
Won't settle for anything less than a top 5 pick or elite midfielder in the Pendlebury mould.
Let's just hope Ratten likes him then.
Warnock got his chance against the Bombers in round 14 or whenever it was. When he put down that very basic chest mark in the back-line which cost us a goal I knew he was finished for us. It was just so microcosmic of his entire career. Turnover after turnover, mistake after mistake and so on.I dunno if Bailey gave him the opportunities that he probably should have. There have been weeks where Jared Rivers has been absolutely shithouse and I think Warnock should have at least got a go.
If he wants out, good luck to him.

The reality is that he's too undersized to play on the gorillas and not skillful enough to provide any rebound or be the third man up, ala Rivers and MacDonald.
Would be pleased if GWS offered us a third rounder for him.

I don't really remember that moment, tbh. So are we holding Garland (particularly after his effort yesterday?), Rivers (some of his F'ups have been pretty shocking, add to that his attitude to others some times blaming others for his stuff ups) and, heaven forbid, Frawley to the same account?
All I've heard and read is how he has been working hard at VFL level. I don't claim to be a doyen on the team and its list management but I think he's been harshly done by, not getting more opportunities.

EDIT: NickGrant is right, regardless of his size, he is/was a decent one on one player. If there's one thing going for him it's that Simon Prestigiacomo etched out a pretty good career by shutting down his opponent and not really racking up possessions.
Rivers has a place in the side as the third tall and offers rebound. He isn't a liability.I don't really remember that moment, tbh. As much as some people have their head in the sand on these issues
Warnock, Bate, Dunn, Bartram, Jetta, Bennell, Maric are treated far harsher than Rivers, Sylvia, Davey, Moloney, Green for poor performances
We have double standards in our selection , and whilst Warnock probably isnt good enough, there is no doubt he has been grilled for little mistakes that Rivers is excused for
