Took a cheap shot at Ball and hit him in the head - shades of Matthew LLoyd - had the plaster cast on - so thought he'd use it to whack a player.

Hope the mongrel gets weeks.

The great thing was the response from our boys - especially BJ

Didn't he fly the flag:? :thumbsu::)

In fact most of the players flew the flag and had a crack at Warnock after this happenned - shows a bit of club spirit :thumbsu:

Great call Kildonan. Was fantastic to watch. I reckon Warnock was lucky that his teammates were able to hold BJ back (or maybe we were lucky as I think he might have thrown one if given the chance).

This bloke is 206cm of slime. Does not deserve to be playing for a while.

Did he go in the book?

It's almost as if they played into our hands, trying to fire us up with their manufactured toughness. With players like Mark Johnson, Dean Solomon and Josh Carr what else could you expect I guess? At least with the likes of Palmer, Mayne and Ibbotson come through they seem to have some great young midfielders coming through.

We've had our hardness questioned and Warnock gave our players the perfect opportunity to get stuck in and fly the flag.

Look I've got nothing against Warnock. If it was captured on camera he'll get a reprimand or a week because that's the only thing the match review panel can do under the restrictions of the current system by that twit Adrian Anderson. But thanks anyway champ. Ball has made a career of getting up so it wasn't going to keep him out of the game for long.

Did you guys see Harvey respond to Johnson? He had taken one too many elbows in the back and just said "right that's enough". Harvs normally just takes it but every now and again its good to see him stick it back to an untalented dog like Johnson and still rack up possessions.

Yes - he was booked immediately.

He will have a rest now - prob get 2 weeks

The thing is I don't care about his punishment - sure he thought he couldn't hurt himself with the cast on - so he went for the smack on the back of Luke Ball's head with it - much like Matthew Lloyd did with that unfortunate Hawthorn kid. Meanwhile the ball was actually over a metre away near Luke's waist. Warnock has no recourse at the tribunal except to say he was trying to hurt the player. He is probably better off just saying he had a rush of blood and can't remember what he did.

The important thing to me was the players responding and that Luke himself, wasn't hurt.

If you actually watch the reply, it wasn't that bad. He came late, look more clumsy than anything, there wasn't head high contact either, hit Ball's top shoulder. No high contact at all. Imo may only get a week.

When I first saw it I thought he hit him in the head, Milburn on SOS like, but on closer inspection Ball got more hurt in the landing. Pretty reckless though, should cop a reprimand.

The reaction of our players was great, probably my favourite part of the match.

But speaking of dog acts, was it just me who noticed Lenny was tripped when he did his hammy? A freo player grabbed his foot with his hand to stop him getting away causing his leg to go on a funny angle and the injury occured. Now that deserves a suspension

Kingy jumping in first has shown he has taken the club in earned the respect of a lot of supporters tonight. :thumbsu:

Was worth a 50 but that's all. Was late but not malicious.

Having said that who knows what number Chooklotto will throw up? :p

How about a retraction there, Kildonan?

Yeah - I may be wrong - did look like the head when I watched it - but on replay - it was still high and may have ricocheted off his shoulder to the back of his head anyway. The real damage was done when Ball fell awkwardly on a slightly rolled ankle and hit his chin on his own knee.

This doesn't excuse the instigator - the booked person - the idiot who used his cast as a weapon to whack another player.

Yeah was a p!ss weak act... Come to expect that of Freo. My most hated team! In reality Warnock had to go else be hated by his own supporters Aaron Fiora style (for being soft), but he probably could have just pushed him in the back to make him earn it.

Loved BJ's anger too, I think they must be sick of Ball being hit with cheap shots.

As usual great courage by Bally tho, loved his comment after the game 'I realised during the week i hadn't been hurt in a while, so I thought I mustn't be going in hard enough'. Classic. I love this bloke! Wish he'd bite the bullet and play with a head gear tho, we'd have him on the park more I think.

The stupid tool could have easily faked going for the ball and taken him down with the body. No need and deserves a week off.

I picked up on his comments too - crazy or inspirational? Probably both.
