Seriously, why is Warren Smith on the Fox Sports Big Bash coverage.

BJ is a more than adequate host.

Take a hint from BONED... a rugby league caller doesn't work on the cricket.

When he went through the XI tonight for NSW I reckon he was about to call Nevill at half-back.

completely agree, horrible caller of the cricket

i find it very unusual that he calls the entire innings as well, normally the fox guys swap after 6 or 7 overs

I like him as a league commentator, only heard a bit of him in the Big Bash and agree, seems a bit out of place.

BJ, AB, Flemo, Waugh, Blewett all work well on the domestic front. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I even dislike his style as a league commentator (always cringe watching the Fox games highlights on the Sunday footy show), from the school of louder is better.

I love the old commentary and the way they played off each other. But this idiot has ruined it completely. Dont get me started on his rehearsed one liners. Get him off my tv!

It's probably not his fault in a way - I'm sure someone at Fox got him in there to do exactly what he has been doing. But it's not working. I love Brian Taylor's work during the footy but he's going to be exactly the same when he comes in to the box later on in the series.

Brian Taylor is not quite as bad, but maybe it's the lack of boundaries tonight not allowing him to get all worked up.

Can't believe BT's horrible commentary in the Victoria v WA game hasn't been mentioned. Hardly got a players name right all night. Even had Beer playing for Victoria at one stage.
